Fuckin’ hell, kid! That ain’t gonna be fixed with a band-aid! [Pulls out first aid kit]
We gotta get that shit cleaned up, now. S’ infected. C’mon, sit. [Points at nearby bench]
Madeline looked to Mayu when she spoke about there being a large group…and that they should hurry up and get going. She felt herself grow a little nervous and felt a funny feeling in her stomach. Why did that make her so wary? She shook her head and looked to her once again as she picked up the cooler and started walking. However Tony had asked her if she would liked to have been picked up and carried the rest of the way, and for a moment she hesitated before looking back up at Tony and letting her hands slip from his and reached up, showing that she wanted to be carried. She felt him lift her up with such ease! He was strong…just like her papa! She held onto Tony, leaning her head on his shoulder as he carried her and followed behind Mayu. She gently clung onto his cloak and glanced up at his face. He might have been scary at first…but he wasn’t…especially not this close cup. She looked ahead as they followed Mayu…that nervous feeling creeping in on her once again.
“ …Mr Tony…” she asked quietly, looking back up at him with her golden orbs. “ …I’m scared…” she admitted, snuggling her head into his shoulder again. “ …They won’t chase me away will they? Whenever I…go up to people they get scared and try to chase me away…or they run…and I don’t know why…” she said sadly. No one really helped her up until now…these two were the first people who had ever stopped and offer to help the poor girl. “ …and I promise I’ll be good too…and I wont be scary…I’ll be nice…” she said softly, not that she wasn’t already going to be. Maybe she just wanted to reassure him that she wouldn’t be bad so she could stay and get their help.
A light started to come up ahead of them and Madeline turned to hide her face from the glow of the fire, hearing people talking and laughing…seeming to have a good time. She clung onto him a little tighter and whined softly, pressing her cheek closer into his shoulder and hiding her face as best as she could. It was obvious that she was scared…but hopefully she could get along with everyone else in their group.
Tony had followed behind Mayu quietly, worried about Madeline, and just thinking of what could have happened.... At least, leaving the thicker part of the forest left him at ease. He still couldn’t figure out why it made him so nervous... but maybe he was just... scared for her?
His thoughts were paused when he heard her talk. He turned to look at her and listened... And sighed. Oh no...
“Why would we chase ya off? You’ve done nothin’ wrong.” He spoke softly, giving her a soft pat on the back.
“Don’t worry. They won’t do anythin’ bad to ya. They’re good folks. We’re here to help you...” He continued, looking towards camp as the began to approach.
“Besides... If they ain’t chasing ME off, why you think they would want ya away?” He joked, again, managing to form a small smile. She was close enough to see it tho, for sure.

As they approached camp, Mayu greeted a few of them, dropping off the cooler close to the fire. When Tony approached, everyone quieted down, curiously looking at the girl.
“Guys, we uh... We found a small girl who needs our help. She was in the forest, and we don’t know where to take her yet. We’re heading back to town now. We’re gonna let her shower, eat, and settle down a bit before we head out.” Mayu spoke to the group, making sure everyone understood the plan. She didn’t need to say much else, they understood what had to be done. “Shaddy, Garret, don’t be too loud, don’t scare her. She’s very startled as it is, aight?”
Garret and Shaddy, who were still looking at the girl, smiled and nodded. They wouldn’t take offense to something like that... They knew how they were...
As Mayu continued to talk to the group, one of the members got up and started walking towards Tony and Madeline. He moved gracefully, softly, and smoothly. His appearance was one of elegance and power, and his eyes were serious and showed a sense of authority... Yet, somehow, they also were so serene and clear... It was obvious he meant no harm.
“Anthony, is she alright? Is she hurt?” He spoke, and Tony turned to face the man.
“Not too sure yet. We gotta get her cleaned up first.” His voice was still rather low, but now, it seemed stronger than before. Almost like if he was speaking to someone of a higher authority.
“May said we could get her some clean clothes...” He continued, but he looked to Madeline, wanting to see how she was doing...
It really is!! Primeapes are virtually indestructible once they’re in a fit of rage and the gravelers…oh boy the gravelers are quicker than they look -shudders-

“Would you like for us to help you find them?” May spoke, her voice soft and patient, giving her a smile.
Tony looked back at the place where the girl was. He… didn’t see any shoes at all. How long had she lost em for…? Would they even be around here? He certainly wanted to help, but…
“We could get ya some new ones back at camp. Also some new clothes. And a bath.” He said, looking at the girl and waiting for an answer. Something about this forest unsettled him. He wanted to leave… And he wanted to leave now. Memories were tugging at his brain… And they didn’t seem pleasant.
Madeline looked behind her, into the darkness of the woods. She held Tony’s hand a little tighter before looking down at her bare feet. She thought for a moment before shaking her head. “ …that’s okay…” she said softly before looking back up at him when he spoke about getting her new shoes and clothes and giving her a bath. For the first time at the moment her eyes lit up with excitement. “ Really?! New shoes and clothes….??” She cried, bouncing up and down a little bit as she started tugging on Tony’s hand. “ …Lets go lets lets go Mr….” she paused for a moment, looking to his face and then looking to May. “ …Ah Im sorry…” she said, slipping her hands out of his before taking the ends of her dirty dress and giving them both a proper curtsy. “ …My name is Madeline…it’s a pleasure to meet you both…thank you for finding me…and helping me…and being so nice…” she said, her little dirty cheeks flushed a little bit. Even though she was eager to get to the camp…she still wanted to be polite.
Tony had somehow managed to smile at this. He was glad to see her smile.
“Well, S’ nice to meet ‘cha, Madeline. You already know May over there” He pointed to Mayu, who waved and smiled at the girl. “N’ my name is Anthony.”
“Everyone calls him Tony tho” Mayu added, grabbing the cooler they had been carrying with ease. “And we should probably get back to camp now. I’m pretty sure Shaddy’s clothes will fit her for now. She can take a bath inside the RV.” Mayu continued, putting the cooler over her shoulder.
“Hope you don’t mind the team. They’re a big group, but we would all be glad to help you, Madeline.” Mayu continued, smiling sweetly and beginning to walk. Tony, however, looked at Madeline again and thought...
“Hey” He began. “If ya don’t want to walk all the way there without your shoes, I could carry ya there.” Honestly, it wouldn’t be a big deal. He was used to carrying Garret, Shaddy and sometimes even Mayu. This girl was a lot smaller than all of em, too...
Not only are the mountains beautiful, but theyre also home to some of the most intresting wildlife aaaah
Back when I used to live in the mountains, I would encounter the local wildlife alnost everyday on the daily basis!! One day I could wake up to the howl of a lone cubone, then another day I would witness the gathering of cleffas and clfairy or have a dance off with spinda -giggles-
….I also got my fair share of training up in the mountains too, out running the primapes and gravelers around those parts ehheh
My my t-that certainly sounds both scary and exciting but more exciting than anything for the simple fact that you get to actually travel with actual people

Madeline sniffled a little bit as Tony spoke to her, rubbing her eyes a little with her dirty hands as he then addressed another person that was there, a woman. She paused for a moment and looked at her, getting a weird feeling in her chest as she seemed to shy away from her gaze. Though the man said that they had a team…and that they would help her find her parents. She didn’t want to be alone…
He asked if she wanted to rest and if she also wanted food and almost immediately she looked to him with big eyes and nodded. “ I’m hungry!” she cried, tugging on his sleeve with her other hand. Once again she glanced over to look at May, who was smiling at her warmly at her. Her cheeks lit up in a soft blush before looking down shyly and standing close to Tony. “ …okay…” she said quietly, in response to his offer about going with them. She walked alongside him slowly, stepping on the cold ground when she paused for a moment. “ …my shoes…” she said quietly, looking down at her bare feet and then looking behind her. Where were her shoes…she didn’t know…she had been without them for so long.

I dont think it sounds weird at all. In fact, it actually sounds kind of exciting!! I…I mean up until now I’ve lived in the mountains and covered my fair share of land on foot, but I would have never thought to actually try the springs, but now you have me considering a trip back to the mountains
I really really wish my hair was pretty like yours mygoodness!! But enough about me!! What brings you and your friends around these parts?

Oh man... I wish I could go back to the mountains sometime! It’s an awesome workout! Not to mention, mountains are always beautiful! You get a great view along with a great workout! -eyeglimmer-
And weeeeell! A Trainer is usually human, and they study the moves and strategies pokemon can use! So if there’s ever big battle strategies or special attacks you wanna learn but are hella hard on your own, you can go to a pokemon gym or trainer and they can help ya out! Some moves take months of practice, so going with someone who knows how to train pokemon is always a plus! They help ya train with a team for competitive battles around the world! It’s sooo much fun!
Madeline couldn’t stop crying. She wasn’t so much scared of him than she was about being alone and without her parents. Where are they? Why couldn’t she find them? Why weren’t they looking for her? On top of that she had hurt herself…this was turning to be the worst kind of day. The man before her was speaking softly to her and she couldn’t help but look up at him through her tears as he continued to hold out his hand to her. He was scary at all…in fact he was being very nice…nicer than most people had been to her as she searched on for her parents. Madeline felt her lip quiver but her sobbing calmed down as she looked at his hand and looked up to him too, then back to his hand. Slowly she pulled her own tiny hand from her chest, she looked like she wanted to reach out and grab his hand but she was still…wary. So instead she clung at the end of her dirtied dress and looked down at her feet pouting.
“ …I lost my mommy and daddy…” she said, sniffling some as tears slipped from her eyes still. “ …T-They told me to wait for them and…and then they never came back…so I think they got lost too….and I went to go look for them but…but I couldn’t find them…and then I couldn’t find my way back….and…and I got scared…” she said softly, her bright yellow eyes giving a soft glow as she looked up at his glowing red one, taking a little step closer to him.
“ …Y-You didn’t run…” she said softly, rubbing her eyes a little bit. “ …People…run away from me a lot…even…even the wild Pokemon…I-I tried asking for help but no one would help me…no one would help me find my mommy and daddy…” she felt her eyes spill over again with tears as she started to breath harder, wiping her eyes as best as she could and without much warning she grabbed Tony’s hand. It was so much smaller than his.
“ I-Im s-s-scared…a-and hungry…a-and cold…l…I want my mommy and daddy…” she gripped his hand a little bit tighter before looking up at him with her big yellow orbs, stepping closer into him. He wasn’t scared at all…in fact she felt a little safer with him there and she wanted to be as close as possible.
Even if Tony was always proud of how stoic he was, he had to admit... She was pulling at his heart strings. Again, he wasn’t showing much emotion at all, and that mask didn’t help either. It always made him look... angry. He was glad she didn’t seem to think so. She seemed to trust him a bit more now.
Slowly, Tony stood up straight, carefully holding her tiny hand in his.
“Don’t worry... We’ll help ya out. The mountains are empty right now, but me and my team will help you. C’mon.” He said, giving a step towards his human companion. He looked at her, then back at the young girl.
“That right there is May. She’s a friend. We’ll take ya back to our camp, and we can help ya look for your parents once yer all rested and we get you some food. How’s that sound?” He said, trying really hard to give the girl a smile but... It wasn’t quite working. Mayu, however, did have a very concerned smile. It was genuine, but she was so worried about the young girl...
Madeline’s head felt light and warm as she sat there, the first time she had had felt any kind of warmth. It was almost like someone had come and put a nice soft blanket on her. She smiled as she buried her head deeper into her knees as she felt herself drift off to sleep in Arecus knows how long. All she wanted to do was to go home…just to go home and be with her parents again. That’s why she had been wandering all through the night right? Looking for her parents…
But how long had she been searching for them?
A voice called out to her and suddenly she felt the presence of another person, there was something nice about it…something familiar…and she thought for a moment…maybe it was her father. “ …Papa…” she muttered sleepily, lifting her head up for a moment to look up at the man who was calling to her. However she broke out of her daze and suddenly she was faced with a terrifying figure, one that was holding his hand out to her and asking if she was alright. She stared at Tony for the longest moment, not even noticing the other woman that was with him as he held his hand out to her. She looked to him and then to his hand and suddenly her chest started to heavy and her breathing quickened and she looked more upset than she did scared.
“ …You’re not my papa…” she whimpered, feeling tears spill over so suddenly. She had thought the feeling was familiar to her but indeed it wasn’t…this man wasn’t her father. Madeline scrambled to her feet as she held her hands close to her chest and started to cry, sobbing so hard and in the mist of that she turned to run away from Tony and go hide. However as soon as she did she tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground, hitting her head. She sat herself up and held her forehead for a moment, in shock that she had fallen so suddenly when once again she let out a sob, now because she had hurt herself and was covered in even more dirt.
“W-Wait!” Spoke the ghost, trying to get her to stop moving... but she did that on her own.
“Tony...?” The human called out to her companion, but he only looked back at her and signaled with his hand for her to wait. She was already scared as it was. Having two people rush towards her was not a great idea.
“Wait hold on.” He spoke to the young girl, carefully and slowly approaching her. “Yer gonna hurt yourself, kid.” He sighed, moving a bit closer.
“Are you lost? Are you alright? We can help you.” He said, trying his best to make his voice sound a bit softer. For some reason... This situation was ... familiar. His memory was currently fuzzy, and he couldn’t quite remember why this setting, this whole ordeal... felt like a memory that mattered. Something important... And he could understand it. The feeling of being lost, confused... alone. Specially on a forest like this.
“We ain’t gonna hurt ya, don’t be scared.” He spoke softly, his heart racing at the familiarity of all of this. He didn’t know what it meant... but he felt the urge to help someone who could be feeling this way.

My name is Shaddy. It’s very nice to meet you, Elliot! And as for the whole hair thing... Natural... springwater? -Nervous laugh- Honestly, I don’t use any special shampoos, but... I travel with my team and trainer, and I always collect water from springs we encounter. We used to have to take baths in lakes and stuff when we got lost deep inside forests for days, but... I discovered that water from places like that do miracles for hair! --- Is that weird? I hope that didn’t weird you out -chuckles-

A figure glowed softly behind a tree, her little head popping from the side to see what was going on. People were hanging around and talking…they looked like they were having a good time. With all the courage that she had she slowly approached the group of people. However before she could get close someone turned to look in her direction and she hit herself once more, her little light going out. “ Hm I thought I saw something…” one of the spoke before they seemed to go back to their conversations, little footsteps being running away deeper into the woods where she had first wandered through. She reappeared and sat in a clearing, breathing heavily as she tucked her knees into her chest and held them. She sniffled…all she wanted was to speak to them…but she got scared. What if they ran away like everyone else she tried to approach? They were all scared of her and she didn’t really understand why.
Before long she heard the group pack up and leave, and soon once again the little Litwick was all alone…not even the wild Pokemon would approach. She looked no more than 7 years old…hardly a scary looking child at that. Her clothes were dirtied from sitting and sleeping on the ground for Arceus knows how long. She held her arms and tucked her head into her knees.
“ I’m cold…and hungry…” she whimpered to herself for a moment before closing her eyes, maybe if she went to sleep the hunger and cold feelings would pass for the moment. She’d try again in the morning…but wandering around this place it always felt like night…the trees were so high and thick she could barely see the light creeping in. It was a little unsettling…but it was the only place she had known since waking up all those years ago.
It had been quite a long day for the duo that was slowly approaching her direction. They had been training for days, and luckly for them, they finally caught a break.
The older one of the two, a large, muscular ghost type was helping the younger one, a human, carry around what appeared to be an ice chest. They were talking about something, laughing a bit, and trying to get trough the forest quickly.
“At least finally we can have a good meal! I honestly wish it was Vlad’s turn to cook more often! No offense, but none of us can cook as well as he can... And I don’t wanna get food poisoning again!” The girl laughed, talking to her companion. The male just chuckled, and was about to say something when he stopped dead in his tracks. The smaller human looked at him, curious, and quietly asking him what was happening.
“I... I don’t know.” He replied, putting the chest down and looking at their surroundings. “There’s something here. I... It’s familiar...?” He said, his brow furrowing as he continued to look around.
“Familiar? Alright, then we gotta take a look! You might find something out!” The human replied quietly, but with clear excitement in her voice.
It took a few minutes, but soon enough, he found the source, and a way to get to it... but it wasn’t at all what he expected.
“Hey...”
The duskull spoke softly, and carefully reached towards the young girl. The human wasn’t too far behind, not sure if she should approach too... Ghost types did tend to scare her a little bit...
