All righty. After some careful consideration and a lot of confusion and procrastination, I am officially moving this blog here to https://winglord-vee.tumblr.com/ along with two side blogs dedicated to JJBA and Transformers with everything else going on the main blog.

To say things these past several months have been difficult would be an understatement. It’s been a complete clusterfuck of trying to deal with all the bullshit in the world at once. First I’m forced to leave my job because my managers were assholes and are probably why I haven’t had a job since, then my grandfather and uncle have to come live with me and my family, I lose all confidence as an artist and a person, and there are so many more things that I can’t explain without getting into territory too personal to share. Every time I think I find some peace, there’s another hurdle jut waiting around the corner for me to trip and fall over. I do currently have a job waiting, but it doesn’t start until tax season (which I thank goodness is close), so while I’ve been training, the money I’ve gotten hasn’t been much. Needless to say, life sucks. A lot. For now, I’m starting over with a new blog in a new space. It will do nothing for me in real life, but its better than trying to revive this long dead space and, maybe, starting somewhere new might just make me feel a little better. Who knows? I'll be following people from there later on.

I’m not entirely dead. Yay? Seriously, I just haven't had the will to draw robots. Honestly, I just ht a real low point and didn't feel like robots anymore. But, I'm cautiously optimistic things are getting better, though every time I say that something horrible goes wrong, hence the flip flopping and here-again-gone-again. Barring that, I'm trying to get back into things, so here's Technis with a modified upper body design that not nearly as good as the original one I was working on, but it's a start.

Tumblr: *rolls out “best stuff first”*

everyone please turn off ‘best stuff first’ in your settings on tumblr so you can support your content creators!

having best stuff first makes it so a lot of content creators’ edits and gifs get buried by other posts, so if you want to see your dashboard in… you know… chronological order (still don’t understand why social media keeps thinking we want anything but that) make sure you go:

settings > global settings > dashboard preferences > turn ‘best stuff first’ off.

How to turn off best stuff first on Android and Motorola!!!

Go to settings (the little gear icon on your account)

Tap on general settings

Tap on Dashboard Preferences

Go to best stuff first…

And turn it off!!

With Best Stuff First on, it sucks because it’s not in order of time, so small blogs don’t get the recognition they deserve! This might work for iOS as well though I’m not sure.

Friendly reminder that the “best stuff first” update went through and it has already severely affected activity on a lot of blogs that include drops in followers and reblogs.

please go to “General Settings” then to “Dashboard Preferences” and turn off “Best Stuff First”. This is killing artist exposure! Please, please, PLEASE, turn it off if you really do love the artists you follow! You’d be helping us so much! Please reblog this so that more people may know!

Artists and writers are losing a lot of exposure over this new feature. Someone recently posted a photo of their notes over the last month and there was a HUGE difference from before the “Best Stuff First” feature and after.

The things many people create on this site is getting buried. Some is commissions but a LOT of content is done for free. Changing your settings does help them, but it also helps YOU still find the things/ blogs you enjoy. If you want to actively help, hit the reblog button if you enjoy something.
