physical glow ups
I feel like I, as a human being, and as a hoe, have evolved since starting this blog. I would like to add some more tips and edit some things I’ve said in the past.
- invest. in. your. skin.
- wash your pillow cases at LEAST every week, if not 2-3 times. it gets so gross and can cause major breakouts.
- try to stay away from diy skincare, a lot of it is really expensive with little to no actual benefits - watch Hyram’s videos on lush and Bella Thorne’s skin care routine to learn more about that
- double cleanse your face and m o i s t u r i z e. please. and then apply sunscreen in the morning.
- if you’re struggling with acne, try a salicylic acid or niacinamide. I would recommend the ordinary, it’s super cheap, great quality, and cruelty free and vegan
-if you’re struggling with wrinkles, try niacinamide and retinol together (especially if you’re just starting out with skincare)
-if you’re struggling with dryness, try hydralounic acid and/or an oil (not coconut! coconut oil can be great for lips and eyelashes/brows, but I can’t recommend it for your skin. Instead, try jojoba, argan, avocado, etc. again, the ordinary has an amazing selection of oils and hydrators)
- If you don’t know how to layer, I recommend this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSRmjxMDxy8 which really breaks it down well. Another channel to check out is Hyram, and Cassandra Banks. They are both very knowledgeable and I highly recommend them both to you. If you can afford to, see a dermatologist.
- PLEASE research supplements and shit BEFORE you take a bunch of them! Anything that says it’s over 100% the daily recommended allowance needs to be avoided. When it comes to vitamins, minerals, etc., it’s a spectrum. On one end, there is deficiency, and on the other, there is toxicity. You want to be in the middle. There are ways to find out the specific amounts for you (usda website and calculators online). A lot of people think when they consume more of a vitamin that they will be healthier, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. This is really only a concern for anyone taking a supplement, so please don’t stress too much if you aren’t.
-SUPPLEMENTS. ARE. NOT. REGULATED. The claims big corporations put out there? If you look closely, they always contain an asterisk (*) leading to somewhere else on the package, which will tell you this statement isn’t approved.
-please floss
-10 minutes of yoga in the morning will be such a game changer. Yoga with Kassandra on youtube did a 30 day challenge and so there are 30 10-15 minute morning yoga videos to choose from on her channel. Please give one a try!
-fish oil can be really beneficial for your skincare and heart health, but as always, check with your doctor. please, i know so many people who overlook their doctor. please check before you take anything

if you’re a pushover, try being a bitch. embrace the bad bitch mentality. literally thinking things like “i am powerful. i’m a bad bitch. no one can fuck with me if I don’t let them” can be soooo helpful.
on the otherhand, if you know you’re a bit too aggressive, try to do things softer. try to ‘glide’ when you walk and be kinder. envision a disney princess, and do what she would do. Think things like “the world is good and so am i”
