I think womens sports would be far more interesting if there weren't extra restrictions.
Last I heard women's sports had more rules than mens because women were more aggressive, I'd have more fun watching Becky and Susan beat the shit out of each other during soccer rather than Tim and Dave crying because they fake tripped over a blade of grass.

So he's deleted the post, but basically the original thing was "if and 18yo isn't mature enough to do XYZ then a 5yo isn't mature enough to decide their gender". The guy is generally a good guy, but he has some shitty opinions, and once it's set in stone in his head then everyone else is wrong in his eyes.

This dude just said "if that offends you, please stop commenting" and then proceeded to get offended after I gave respectful replies, transphobic people really do have fragile egos.
If your opinion of someone is so strong that you have to post about it on a public platform, and then get mad about someone challenging your opinion, you're probably the problem.

Weird question but do you have any idea who this guy is? For some reason I saved the image and not like...the name of his account or whatever, and when I tried to reverse search it, the engine told me that you posted the image (I did in fact remember that I first saw it on a post where people were arguing with TERFs, I just couldn't remember who posted it and who the guy is):

Hot damn, I'm back. I took my own advice I got offline for a while, and you know what, I learned to chill out.
We are animals following imaginary rules, not crossing imaginary lines, living imaginary lives with imaginary goals, if we just strip down and live out natural lives like the animals we are.
Eat some grass and berries, grab a fish straight out of the water and chow down, just straight chill like the great apes we are.

At the end of the day, people are gonna do what people are gonna do, I personally still have my own opinions, but for the most part I've been less and less active on tumblr or even trans discourse for that matter, I'm just done with all the drama associated with *gestures vaguely* all of it.
And honestly, just do what makes you feel fulfilled, your own happiness and wellbeing is most important, if that means leaving behind certain things, then so be it, its better to reattach yourself to things that make you feels better as a person.

Probably because 9/11 happened while most of use were still alive and literally none of us were alive for slavery.
Also, in about 100 years people will have the same reaction to 9/11 as slavery, recognition that its horrible, but it'll never be as personal because if you didn't live through it, you'll never know the true impact of it.
Also, no ones trying to forget slavery, most of black history is about slavery (for obvious reasons in the U.S.)
