That is an important addition! The big problem I had with mentioning it was the issues on space.

I also neglected to mention the violence currently and historically committed against two spirit people across various cultures by the US government and it's citizens as well as the Kathoey being often associated with sex workers and having a lot of oppressive forces, institutional or otherwise.

I am very open to criticism! I would rather be corrected than have incomplete or misinformation spread around!

1 in 12 transgender people are murdered

49% of transgender people attempt suicide 

1 out of every 1,000 homicides in the US is an anti-transgender hate crime. (There are 14,000 homicides every year in the U.S.)

This does not include unreported crimes, which are important because among LGBT people, 40% of police-initiated violence is against transgender people.

Considering that trans people make up 2-5% of the population these numbers are horrific.

Educate yourself.
