Now is as good a time as any to break the bad news.

The TF Legends app game is coming to a close. Hasbro and/or whomever else is in charge of the game has decided it is no longer worth the expenditure of keeping it running.

Hence forth, as far as I’m aware, there will be no more weekly campaigns.

This has been something I’ve been anticipating ever since the ‘best of’ episodes began. It’s likely that was put in place so the formal moderators could re-use previous art (instead of paying for new images) while they tried to let the money stack up again. But it never did.

What does that mean for this blog? As this blog is independently run, it will never be deleted until tumblr ceases to exist. Over the next month or so I will be looking extra hard for cards I’ve yet to publish. After that this blog will cease to make new posts. An archive in memorial, if you will.

Ironhide

“I chose Ironhide because of my personal involvement with the character. Galvatron

“Galvatron is just fun. As cool as Megatron was, Galvatron was a massive upgrade in raw power. The first thing he did was to take out Starscream, and he was a threat to the Autobots for the rest of the film. Later, he traded in the calm arch-villain persona for his own brand of insanity. Blaster

“I chose Blaster mainly because of comic appearances. Blaster played a huge role in the original comics, and he was a favorite character of mine. I loved his relationship with Scrounge and his adventures with Goldbug. Naturally, his showdown with Soundwave in the original cartoon was one of my favorite moments as well.” ~Casey Coller

Thunderwing

Thunderwing’s vice is simple - obsession. Whether he sets out to achieve victory or vengeance, he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Thundercracker

Thundercracker is a master of using sound to his advantage. His fear inducing sonic booms can be felt thousands of miles away, generating panic in those nearby, and deep unease for anyone who hears it.

Thrust

During the early days of the war, Thrust’s thundering engines boomed out after the Decepticons’ many victories. Later, as the Autobots grew in power and won more battles, Thrust often would flee like a coward at the first sign of danger.

Swoop

Although somewhat of a show-off, Swoop is the friendliest of all the Dinobots. His alt-form, however, is horrifying to both allies and enemies. Though he’s a top aerial combatant, and considers fear to be his greatest weapon.

Streetwise

Nothing escapes Streetwise’s notice. He has an amazing capacity for adapt to understand his environment. Clever and determined, nothing deters him from seeking his prey... except an empty fuel tank.

Stunticons / Menasor

A gestalt made up of Motormaster, Dead End, Blackjack, Breakdown, Off Road, and Drag Strip - Menasor is one of the Decepticons’ mightiest warriors. Unfortunately, he is not easily directed, which leads his allies to unleash him in battle then reach minimum safe distance while they watch the carnage.

Lockdown

A bounty hunter with a no-nonsense attitude, Lockdown is as ruthless as he is blunt. This attitude, along with his exceptional skills in combat, is why Megatron sent him to bring Deadlock back to the Decepticons.

Lightspeed

Always with his head in the stars, Lightspeed is a dreamer, wishing to soar through the cosmos once his duty in the war is over. As such, he dutifully joins the other Autobots in hopes of ending the Decepticon hostilities as soon as possible.

Laserbeak

Laserbeak’s chosen roles are the spy and assassin, lurking in unseen corners and relaying information to his superiors. He also has served as an interrogator, using his deadly lasers on prisoners to extract information.

Hot Link

A gadget builder at heart, Hot Link doesn't care where his newest toy comes from as long as he can tinker with it. His pride and joy is his flamethrower, which he has used to great affect in the Decepticon’s war against the Autobots.

Cutthroat

Cutthroat uses his wings, hands, claws, beak, and teeth to shred anything in his path. His attacks aren’t so much strategic as they are simply vicious. He follows his own motto, “Compassion is the currency of losers” into the battlefield, ripping apart anyone within reach - be they friend or foe.

Jazz

“Jazz was my first Transformer! I was immediately attracted to his slick alt-mode and his cool, shades-wearing robot mode. The voice of Scatman Crothers really hammered home the fact that this guy was cool. He was easily my first choice for this event.” ~Casey Coller

Aerialbots / Superion

A might combiner made up of Silverbolt, Air Raid, Fireflight, Skydive, and Alpha Bravo; Superion is one of the Autobots’ greatest allies in their war against the Decepticons. When they are united as one, the Aerialbots’ dedication to defeating their enemy is unstoppable.
