rewatching "e.b.e." and "i think it's remotely plausible that someone might think you're hot" is still one of the craziest lines in this entire show 😭😭 the way mulder doesn't even glance at scully pretending to busy himself. the way she stops and looks up at him. the silence after!!!!! OMG.

i've only seen positive reviews on how "off campus" deals with hannah's trauma... but i can't be the only one who feels really upset with the sex montage in episode 5? she wasn't able to have sex with anyone, froze up when trying with garrett, the side-by-side masturbating worked (with no issue?), but then after they confess their feelings it's just tons of sex with no more insecurity, freezing up, fear, awkwardness, just a montage brushing over their first proper sexual encounter with amazing orgams etc... movies and shows always do this. the right guy will come along and heal you. maybe i'm just bitter. it's so unfair. why does she immediately have to be ready? talking about it in therapy is not the same as actually having sex. and yes, she wanted to be ready and do it, but wanting and being able to isn't always the same either. i know i'm projecting and my trauma is nowhere near the level of hannah's so I have no right to judge or call it inaccurate. i just can't stand it. please tell me i'm not insane.

i do think the votes were rigged bc bulgaria suddenly went up to second place in the boomaker's odds just before the final. this can happen when someone has intel. the voting cannot be authentic bc pro-israel groups skew the results by mass voting israel. the ebu cannot ban israel from the contest bc they need the money from israel (and germany) to finance the contest. but if israel wins, the contest will implode and it will cause a huge public scandal. i'm not just talking about israel and bulgaria votes. both jury and televotes were incredibly strange this year for almost all songs. also notable that we can now only cast 10 votes, probably also as damage control to prevent mass votes for israel but it obviously didn't work. with 10 votes most fans will focus on one favorite rather than scattering their votes across multiple songs to prevent israel to win. i think the only authentic votes this year were romania's televotes and cyprus+greece jury votes. i don't know how much longer eurovision can go on like this.

idk if anyone has pointed this out yet but i do think it says a lot about beauty standards at the time + stephenie meyer's self-image/insecurity that bella was already a slim teenager but just before her vampire transformation where she becomes eternally frozen in time her half-vampire fetus sucks the life out of her making her even skinnier to the point of almost starving. so then as a vampire she is super duper unhealthily skinny BUT bc she's a vampire it's okay bc she never has to eat again and is super strong and ESPECIALLY super beautiful and finds herself beautiful for the first time and suddenly she fits in and wears trendy clothes and it's just considered normal... anyways

got started on the new season of heartbreak high and 1) i like spider so much more than I ever thought i would 2) quinni is everything to me. everything. 3) sad people are always blaming amerie 4) zoe is growing on me and so is sasha 5) liam is hella cute 6) glad to have malakai back and 7) this show is just so fun and original and even in its final season we're getting new interesting characters (TAZ) and compelling storylines!!!!!
