i’m gonna be real with you: i love minecraft and its definitely not wrong for you to love minecraft yourself, but lets not pretend like notches gross beliefs are not present in the game, since there really is no denying that villagers are in fact an antisemitic caricature.

now im not saying minecraft is cancelled or anything (again, as a jewish person i really love this game), but i feel like making these jokes about minecraft just being born out of nothing as a way to dismiss notch as the creator ignores the fact that in the game itself there is antisemitism, and if you condemn notch you should also condemn the game itself on that front.

these jokes are funny but i feel like they are leading people to believe the only issue with minecraft is the creator, which is not the case.

enjoy minecraft, but please be critical and aware of its faults. they exist.

(anyone is free to rb but the part about villagers being an antisemitic caricature isnt debatable, specifically if you arent jewish yourself. if you want proof google is free and i dont want your “”debunks”” in my notifs.)
