I am a native Chicagoan that currently resides just outside of Cincinnati, OH. A city girl, through and through, I am still adjusting to small town life. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art with a minor in French from Elmhurst College. I was working on my Master’s degree at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, when I became pregnant for the 3rd time. Although this angel boy was only here for a very short time – he left quite a legacy. Angel Boy was born with a rare genetic disorder called Citrullinemia. My husband and I, went on to have 4 more boys, 3 of which were also born with Citrullinemia. Now a stay-home mom of 6, I recently started blogging about the trials and tribulations of a family with 4 young boys at home, 3 of which have had liver transplants to cure their genetic disorders. My 2 older children still live in Chicago. My oldest, Veronica, is working on her bachelor’s degree at Elmhurst College with a double major of Communications and History and a minor in Art. Tom, my second oldest, will be following in his father’s footsteps and attending DeVry University next year. When not hanging out with the boys, I spend my ‘me’ time writing, sewing, reading & walking. Some day, I would like to train for a marathon, okay maybe a half marathon. Is there such a thing as a quarter marathon? I also spends a generous amount of time online.
