Jasper was riding the ladder across the shelves, looking for a book on Scandinavian sex magick rituals. Not, for once, for pleasure, but for business. He was beginning top suspect Armande was up to something and needed to check some things. When the ladder ran out of track, Jasper just made it jump to the next shelf, going up and down a story as well as wandering different areas trying to work out the organization system. He hopped shelves around a corner and acquired a passenger accidentally. Wrapping an arm around the other man's waist, Jasper drifted to a stop somewhere around the history of porphyria in lycanthropes. Which was fascinating in and of itself, and he took a moment to snag an interesting tome while adjusting his fellow passenger so that they weren't sharing his lap. "I can drop you off on my way if you'd like. I'm headed towards runes at the moment but I could be looking in the wrong place. Has anyone told you you have ridiculously pretty eyes? Probably." The ladder started up again and was whipping past fast enough that any error would probably cause major damage to either Jasper or the library. Probably both. "I'm Jasper, by the way."
