Hhhhh the tight control that Finch has over Reese from the out makes me so insane. Reese craves the familiarity and routine of being under an authority's command, and at the same time he is reeling from the PTSD of what happened when he was under extra-military command before

So you have Finch who has his number (lmao) and knows him so fucking well, anticipates his needs and desires so well, much better than Reese does himself, bc he cannot really cope with the fact that he HAS needs and desires

And Reese craves it and also LOATHES it

And the quiet joy he takes in his rebellion, stalking Finch around the city and sniffing after him like the dog he is, and being equally satisfied by Finch evading him - and scolding him for trying - as he finds satisfaction in unthreading one of his hideouts or identities

Reese would tie himself up if Finch gave him the orders, and so much of their D/s dynamic would be about Finch's complete psychological domination over him bc by necessity John has to weaken himself to LET finch hurt him physically
