I know Jellypaws, casualsims, leosims and sonyasims use AI for their previews/cc or wtv but I know there’s more people I just don’t know who. Does anyone have a list?

Okay, so I gathered some who either use AI for their previews/meshes. Also please note that this is just a list that I was making for myself so I could avoid these creators. I did not intend for this to be seen as a call out post, bc that was not my intention. If it were a callout post then I would @ these people. This list is only to inform you guys on who to avoid/be wary of!!

Jellypaws - AI previews and meshes

Casualsims - AI previews. Meshes idk

Sonyasims - AI previews. Meshes idk

Pixelvibes - AI previews and meshes

ddarkstonee - AI previews and meshes

Dustyrat - They used to use it for their previews, but no longer do. Mesh no ai usage there ❌

pastelpaws/xxxtigger/pasteltigger - uses AI for previews last I checked

ironvolt545 - I am going to assume their meshes use AI or they use AI to “help” them “create”

sims3melancholic - has used AI as a reference for those “highly realistic” skins they have recently made (they still used AI either way even if they used it as a reference ‼️‼️)

Cowbuild - AI previews and meshes

Leosims - AI previews. Meshes are directly from gumroad/other 3D model sites.

Cluttercat - they use AI for their artwork/painting cc’s. Mesh idk, but I would assume they do since they use AI images for their cc paintings!

Rubyred/casa dutti (same person) - AI previews. Mesh idk

Sims4life - AI previews. Mesh idk. They could be using AI to generate pictures for their paintings/artwork cc or downloading AI images off Pinterest!!

Daonworks - AI previews unknown. Meshes are AI

Syboulette - They used to use AI textures in the past but they no longer use it !!

Swimwearsprada - AI previews idk. Meshes are AI

Scodee Yodee - AI previews idk. Meshes are AI (older stuff is fine, only their newer stuff uses it)

dumbburgergirl - uses Al for that bubble font in their previews. Could also be using AI for some of the furniture they make

Roxxysim - AI previews. Meshes idk

creamlattedream - AI previews no usage there ❌ Uses AI generated textures for meshes

Skinfolk - Just look at their patreon. It’s quite obvious they use AI….LMAO I would also like to say that LifeLike-Simz and Skinfolk are most definitely the same person !!

Plumbelle - suspicious “new creator” using the words “NOT AI” they have since deleted the post and changed it to where it does not say the words “NOT AI”This person is suspected to be Pixelvibes

s-club - AI previews (on newer cc) Mesh idk.

robertaplobo - still unsure if they use AI for their previews, but just to be safe I’ll put them on here!

jomsims - has used AI photos as swatches. Mesh idk.

mychqqq - AI previews (on newer cc). Mesh idk

abbypiggg - They use AI for their cc paintings/artwork

aggressivekitty - They use AI for their Meshes along with the artwork/picture cc they make

fatalrosecfeations - this person doesn’t seem to be active, but they have said HERE that they have used AI textures/images for their cc

Hi i was scared to mention this in the comments of the post because I didn't want to be dog piled, but I wanted to bring up a scandal from a little while ago

So back in October a cc creator (not naming names) had some early access halloween costumes, which is all fine and good. But the early access ended on November 1st, so, to actually use the costumes for Halloween you had to pay.

I know you're not like a drama blog or anything like that, I just wanted to mention how this type of absurd pay walling has existed for a while, and if I keep seeing it in the paralives community, I will lose my goddamn mind.

if you scroll like deep enough in my blog i think you’d probably find me mentioning this exact thing. It was quite an outrage with people paywalling certain cc during certain holidays (someone once paywalled pride month cc during pride month.) so you’re definitely not the only who feels that way. Totally agree you!

Addressing a few concerns

So, I assume most of you don't know, but there is a bit of drama inside the Paralives community. It's funny because this whole thing is revolving around The Sims 3.

TwistedMexi made his first paywalled "early access" mod called Sims 3 Camera, and I've been working on the same thing as he was. 1. Let's get the "clone" allegation out of the way first.

TwistedMexi is accusing me of cloning his mod, but let’s look at the facts. Thankfully, I always use GitHub, so the commit dates are there to prove it.

(2026-05-27T19:57:44.000+00:00) is a timestamp of the publication date of his Patreon post.

Honestly, I didn't know I could see the future, but ok.

2. The second thing I want to address is that currently there are a lot of awful comments directed at Tmex. PLEASE do not harass other creators.

3. Regarding early access and paywalls: My mods are developed in my spare time as a passion project. I believe in keeping my work accessible to everyone, which is why all of my content will remain completely free, forever. I believe the community should play a role in maintaining projects if the original creator steps away, which is why I always share the source code for my projects Free mods are a pillar of a healthy community, whereas paywalls only lead to gatekeeping and unnecessary drama. My hope is that more creators choose to release their mods in a way that prioritizes community growth and shared resources.

A reblog would be greatly appreciated to help spread this message.

Since when was making mods a form of compensatory outlet? Mods were well known to be a hobby. A passionate art form fanbase’s would create to evolve and expand their favorite games and share that amongst their fellow community. NEVER has mods been monetized in any gaming community before the Sims 4.

“If you can’t afford to do this for free, you shouldn’t be doing this at all” is an acceptable refute to your greed. No one is forcing you to make mods and in no way are we obligated to compensate you for your efforts. If your sole purpose to join a community is to make a profit out of it, then you are a narcissist and are not welcomed. Plain and simple.
