I used to be afraid that as I grew older I wouldn’t be able to know how to handle being an older person. It came as a great relief to know that most everyone is just faking it till they make it. Like, I genuinely still don’t know what the fuck Frasier is even about. I don’t know if it’s a drama or a comedy. I thought when I was a full adult I’d know all about Frasier, but I don’t, and that’s okay. I also have to deal with a bunch of forms and paperwork that I don’t know how to really deal with, and that’s okay. We learn as we go. Except for Frasier. I have no interest in watching Frasier or ever learning what it’s even about (anyone who tries to tell me is blocked). But that expectation from when I was younger wasn’t an expectation I need to honor, because it’s not one I made with love for myself

basically what i’m saying here is get ready for art of mighty ray and matilda doing sibling shit

so uh i re-read su 48-49 and um i am now having plenty of feels abt mighty ray and tilly so whoops time to initiate her into lostlands au (it being...well, a mixed canon au, backstory will be a little different likely (i.e tilly’s roboticization is initially partial instead of full, and a year or two after this happens the event sending several characters to the lostlands occurs. Matilda finds herself in one of the further out zones (red sands to be exact), and basically just kinda fends for herself there for another year or two. When she is finally discovered, she is withdrawn, though not quite as much as in archie canon. Similarly to canon though, it takes a speech from her adoptive brother ray for her to open her heart to her family, just under different circumstances that don’t lead to her being near fatally damaged (though her brother is definitely still in danger))

Tiara finished putting the Life ring back in it's rightful place and turned to him, her eyes glimmering. "That's number four! We only need to find two more rings or order, then we might have a chance of getting out of here!" Then, it happened. Out of sheer excitement, she took his hands. It was in that moment that he realized, between the sudden contact and her beaming smile, exactly what was going on. Why he'd been feeling less and less on edge with her, why he'd come to actually give a toss about wether or not she got hurt. By some twist of fate, he'd fallen for a princess. '...Shit.' OH YEA BBY SHITTY RAREPAIR THAT ONLY MAKES SENSE IN LOSTLANDS IS BAAAACK ......im a shit writer, but i figured a small drabble was the best way to explain what's going on here ;v; i put a lil more effort into the background than i expected to (rings of order and the goddess ring still look like glowing fruitloops tho i hate myself)
