The Sopranos did creepy horror scenes better than most horror movies do today

The absolute creepiest is the top video which when I first watched it creeped the fuck out of me. For context the man in the mirror is "Pussy" Bonpensiero who was one of his soldiers and a good friend going back to childhood. He was discovered to be cooperating with the Feds and wearing a wire. So Tony and a few of his goons take him out on a boat in the middle of the ocean, kill him, and throw him overboard.

His ghost image on the mirror just comes out of nowhere and is never shown again. It's a pretty bog standard episode that doesn't really stand out, but then this happens and it stuns you and smacks you in the face. No jump scare noises, Tony looks confused like he can feel something is wrong, and the scene ends and it never happens again. But it is so creepy and it works as a great tool of characterization to show the "ghosts" that haunt Tony and his conscience in the series.
