I don't really know how to introduce myself... well I'm neurodivergent, so please be patient with me. And am probably undiagnosed DID... so yeah, the username say it all. if you want to dress gay but aren’t sure how, you need to focus more on finding clothes you actually like and that make you feel good when you look in the mirror. develop your style independently of what you think looks gayest and trust the homosexuality will follow. it goes where confidence and self acceptance are
^ 100%, i used to be really unhappy with the way i looked because i just wore my “safe” comfort clothes all the time, i felt like i wouldn’t look good in anything i tried on so i just wore leggings and sweatpants and hoodies all the time. whenever I bought new clothes it would just be more of the same. i don’t think i liked anything i wore, i just picked what felt familiar. a year into college i started experimenting with new outfits, wearing form fitting tops and crop tops even though im chubby and wearing straight leg jeans after only wearing leggings/sweatpants and suddenly there were so many more options and things i enjoyed wearing. disdain for and shame of our bodies is so restricting and keeps us from self expression and feeling happy and at home in our looks, but experimentation helps us get past that and realize that we can look good and feel good in our clothes, once we stop trying to hide our bodies and start celebrating them
