i absolutely love that gon takes illumi’s abuse of killua seriously, but the fact that leorio and kurapika take it just as seriously gets overlooked a lot. like we all talk about the iconic scene where gon marches out of his hospital bed to go break illumi’s arm but prior to that while gon was still unconscious who was it that tried to console killua immediately after he gave up during his fight with illumi? who was it that was standing in a room for god knows how long arguing with netero about killua being disqualified? who was it that insisted that killua was being manipulated and controlled while everyone else said there was no proof of that? it was kurapika. it was leorio. i mean leorio was ready to give up his own license for killua’s sake! he was really about to do that! they’re the first two people older than killua who recognize illumi as an abuser which is incredibly important and good and it’s really sad that it gets overlooked so much
