CHANNEL UPDATE: WHATS NEW TO COME FOR TRD?

Since our last episode, there hasn’t been much of an update regarding the continuation of our series, in fact, we never really gave one at all! But today we’re giving you one! It’s been a while and we felt some news has been long overdue, so we’ve got an update for all of you today! Check to see what is happening here at TRD this year.

BONUS SCENE: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GROUP TWO WEEKS LATER.

During the two-part season finale, Bandit’s hard drive failed on him, Skiddy died, Flash lost his record deal and Switch was moving away. However, things got worse when it was revealed that Derrick had resurfaced through the assistance of an unknown man, sent to destroy Bandit’s camera out of revenge. Upon discovering this, Bandit was left feeling hopeless and lost, staring down at the fragments of his equipment. Now we get to see what happened two weeks later in this bonus ending to “Black Swan”. FANDOM INTROS: SWITCH THE DRAGON-MONSTER

An artist and writer, Switch found her interest in the fandom’s artistic aspect after realizing her own work shared similarities with it. As she continues to pursue her passions alongside a newfound interest in audio engineering, Switch socializes with many other furries, making friends and enjoying life’s adventures.

FANDOM INTROS: FLASH THE FOX

Known as the longest serving cast member of the series, Flash came to the Prancing Skiltaire in 2011 after acquiring an interest in the furry fandom. Loved for his unique sense of humor and friendly nature, he would later be the first to get married at the furmeet. Although withdrawn from the group, Flash remains active with his music.

FANDOM INTROS: NINJA THE COYOTE

Replacing Culpeo on short notice, Ninja became the third cohost in 2014, quickly adapting to the concept of the group. She is also the host of her own furmeet in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Ninja works in pet grooming, taking special care of various dogs within her hometown and is also known in the fandom for her artwork.

FANDOM INTROS: DANIEL THE PANDA

Childhood friends with Bandit and Flash, Daniel tagged along to the Prancing Skiltaire after joining the group to participate in the project with his own brand of comedy. Daniel is also a musician, known for his earlier works in 2007. Since his leave from the group in 2013, he has gained attention in the fandom through his recent albums.

FANDOM INTROS: SKIDDY THE HIGHLANDER CAT

The first non-fur of the group, Skiddy knew Bandit, Daniel and Flash through high school, later joining the group in 2012 to observe and learn about the fandom through personal experience. Only making a few visits to the Prancing Skiltaire before leaving the group, she later visited them in 2015 and has remained in touch since then. Here is Skiddy’s introduction vlog to the fandom!

A skilled artist pursuing a career in game design, Abbey joined the fandom to share his various creations and break his shyness through socializing with the community. Abbey also enjoys a variety of webcomics, his favorite being “Bittersweet Candy Bowl” which inspired the choice in his fursona.

The original cohost of the series, Byrds was a regular attendant of the local Prancing Skiltaire furmeet, where she would spend the evening with friends and contribute her vibrant personality on the series. Although no longer as active in the community, Byrds continues to reside in Southern California, staying in touch with those closer to her.

FANDOM INTROS: JACKIE THE PANTHER

Though she is also not a furry herself, Jackie became associated with the fandom after being brought to the Prancing Skiltaire by a friend within the community. Since then, she has occasionally hung out with her new friends at the furmeet when available. Her personal hobbies involve theatrical work at her school, including performances.

FANDOM INTROS: DRAKE THE HUSKY-DRAGON

In 2013, Drake joined the group to fill in for when Daniel left after he moved up north. Although he is not as active in the furry fandom as the other members of the group, he would launch his very own segment called “Drake’s Corner” in 2014 where he would take on numerous dares and answer questions submitted by viewers.

The host and creator of the series, Bandit is also the primary holder of the camera, film editor and graphic designer. Joining the fandom in 2006, Bandit aimed to make a name for himself as a musician, but would also begin documenting his life and experiences in the fandom through vlogs in 2009, the rest is history. NEW EPISODE: THE UNIMAGINABLE HAPPENS AS THE SEASON ENDS.

On the previous episode, our group went through a variety of losses, from Bandit's hard drive failure to Skiddy's death, but their troubles are far from over. What lies in store now for Bandit and his group? It turns out that the group has been stalked by an unknown man working for Derrick, but what are his plans? Why is he spying on Bandit and his group? Meanwhile, Flash loses his record deal and tries to figure out a future for his career, Jackie and Switch begin to bond with each other and Bandit’s hard drive may turn out to be unfixable. Its the final chapter of the season, where bigger trials await the group.

For some, it’s a bit difficult to have friends outside of the community they’re in, unsure of how they’ll be perceived for who they are, but is it really a big deal?
