Vents installed into hardwood flooring, obviously do not fit and create wide gaps easily tripped on, not to mention now the vents serve no purpose with air flow blowing out the holes.
How handles were replaced on all doors. Already falling off, some obviously incomplete.. how are you supposed to close the door with no middle piece??
Trim had to be removed when flooring was done. This is how it was replaced, by propping a piece of wood up in it's spot.
Removed fluorescent lights to install pot lights. Ceiling was only putty'ed over, not repainted. Looks terrible and unfinished.
Lazy Susan door. Fell off within weeks of install. Notices scratches on door to the immediate left, result of door falling off.
Kitchen cabinets. Notice bottom door does not close + no handle.
Trehane Carpentry - WARNING
Hi all. This blog is a review of work I had done by Trehane Carpentry, in Ottawa, Canada. As I have been unable to have my contractor, to rectify my issues on work performed in the Fall & Winter of 2011, I thought I would spotlight some of their work, for those considering hiring them for any projects of their own. I had my kitchen re-done, fence installed, and minor repairs done through-out the house, all of which have given me problems, or were uncompleted when the contractor decided he was done. Please note, I have attempted many times to have these fixed, and have been ignored.
