I thought up a random poem last night at 3 AM and I figured it seems post worthy

I have titled it:

Tired Mind at 3 AM

The days fleet by in a restless haze

It'd be so easy to just disappear

I could stay in my bed for the rest of eternity

Not moving, not wanting, I feel nothing

Like an artist longing to describe their feelings

not with words, but with color

only to become overwhelmed in a creative starvation

as they can't begin to paint what it means to feel

I'm lost behind my canvas, my book, my tablet

to wonder about what its like to feel only to realize

I feel nothing
