ok so i think if i leave only one person is automatically promoted to admin so sorry if u dont want it but u can just promote someone to admin and not deal w/ it <3
ok im leaving the blog now so good luck to everyone w/ ur studies and all of u r now going to be admins unless someone messages me in 5 minutes
im going to remove myself from this blog soon so if someone wants to be admin message me/ reply to this! if no one does within an hour ill just remove myself and all of u can be admins
Today I had a reason comprehension exam... it was harder than I was expecting ;v; But I can still study all four new verb tenses I've been taught this semester, at least!
I learned how to make informal commands in Spanish yesterday, stuff like "show me!" and "don't tell me." I learned the same thing for the nosotros/we form too (like "let's go!") and it's soooooo confusing figuring out how to conjugate the verbs 😭
I just learned that Italians have quite a funny use of possessive pronouns. They use them with the definite article and not alone. So you have things like "I eat the my lunch"
I decided to keep going with Italian on Duo, because it’s easier to get into another romance language and less frusrating than Russian can be. I’m learning lots of food vocab
im going to revamp the theme for this blog and include more links of where to find us! so not only will i link to your tumblr, but if you want i can link to your duolingo / memrise / instagram / etc in your profile box.
if you want this message this blog w/ your username on all the websites you’d like linked (max 5).
edit: u should post something about ur language learning there (although ig is fine w/o much lmao)
(Omg we're back? :D) I learned the future tense this week -- like, not "voy a caminar" but "caminaré." The first is kind of like "I'm going to walk" and the second is "I will walk," it's neat! I have a test on it and adjective clauses today so I'm super nervous :'D
please start tagging your posts with both your url and what language you are talking about in your posts, just so people who are interested can know and others learning your language know too!
today i went through more of japanese 1 on memrise! im only 15610 points from memcache, which i want to get in two-three days!! i relearnt ka-ko in hiragana and revised a-o. i need to relearn the stroke order of ka as i always write it wrong!
oyasumi / お や す み / goodnight!
Also, I discovered this really cool website called Word Brewery. It gives you vocab for different topics in example sentences. You can make lists, look at more sentences and it’s really great for context and repetition. In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s worth a try!!
Now, my experience in language learning has been a little chaotic. Living in scotland for the year, I wanted to learn gaelic, but the course was cancelled and I ended up with a weekly russian lesson...I'm still working on my french every now and then and had a little look at Italian...but I'm focusing on Russian now because of the lesson
guess who finally got back into japanese!!! today i (re)started the memrise course today and went through the first three sections of level 1! i reviewed it quite a few times to make sure i remembered everything and i became a mempee!! exciting!!
after i did the memrise levels i relearned the stroke order of a, i, u, e, o and practiced those hiragana for a bit.
does someone want to be the mod of this blog? im going to remove myself from the blog and leave it to one of you if anyone wants it
Well, over the past two months I've finally started my junior year of uni, and I'm taking intermediate level Spanish classes. I can probably post more regularly now that I'm finally in classes again! So far I've been learning about the present perfect and past perfect tenses, as well as vocabulary for going to the doctor and going to a job interview. I've also done a video chat through this thing called TalkAbroad to help with immersion and speaking proficiency. I spoke with a really nice person from Colombia and learned about Colombian healthcare! I'd really recommend looking into TalkAbroad an an option for talking to native speakers. I hope everyone else has been doing okay 😊
