i realized my sister is my person we’re polar opposites emotionally but we’re each other’s person. even when/especially when we’re bitching and fighting like. bc that isn’t the important thing. i love how sensitive and kind she is and how shitty experiences have only made her heart more open and considerate about other people’s issues n how she’s unashamedly passionate about things and she’s authentic in the most non cornball way 

she can be emotionally open to my parents and tell them about her problems and i admire that bc i absolutely can’t do that at all. she’s cautious and erratic all at once and kjhjhjk anyway 

i’m just excited to go to oregon and to see her and go on all sorts of bullshit adventures and hike and hopefully kayak and buy lots of books like we always do

ADDITIONALLY, THE BRIGHT LIGHTS USED FOR NIGHT SHOTS ATTRACTED SWARMS OF FLYING INSECTS WHICH COULD NOT BE EDITED OUT.

THE ACTOR PLAYING A CHARACTER NAMED TORGO HAD TO WEAR SPECIAL RIGGING ON HIS LEGS THAT WOULD MAKE HIM LOOK LIKE A SATYR. HOWEVER, THIS RIGGING WAS PUT ON HIM BACKWARDS DUE TO A LACK OF WARDROBE PROFESSIONALS ON THE CREW. THIS CAUSED HIM SIGNIFICANT LEG PAIN FOR THE REMAINDER OF HIS LIFE, AND MADE HIM LOOK ONSCREEN LIKE HE SIMPLY HAD LARGE SHINS. THE FACT THAT HE WAS A SATYR WAS NEVER MENTIONED IN DIALOGUE EITHER, SO IT LEFT MANY PEOPLE CONFUSED AS TO WHY HE HAD WEIRD LEGS. THE LEG PAIN FROM THE RIGGING WOULD EVENTUALLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE ACTOR’S SUICIDE A FEW MONTHS LATER.

WHEN THE FILM PREMIERED, THE ACTRESS WHO PLAYED THE LITTLE GIRL OPENLY WEPT UPON HEARING A GROWN WOMAN’S IMPRESSION OF A CHILD COME OUT OF HER MOUTH. THE ENTIRE CAST SNUCK OUT OF THE THEATER IN SHAME DURING THE SCREENING.
