Closing up shop
At least, I’m closing up shop at this particular location.  Running two blogs is ridiculous and I’m not going to do it any more.  The problem is this is my primary account and I have many more followers at my secondary account.  Tumblr won’t allow you to merge accounts and I’m not willing to delete my primary because I’ll lose everything and will have to start from scratch.  My fix is to render the original inactive effectively immediately.  I’ll still post photos, I promise.  In fact, I’m going to post photos daily, usually at 7pm CST.  The shots will adhere to no one theme, as ultimately the blog is for me to explore my hobby.  You will see photos from my explorations and photos from excursions I make both near and far, but I’ll be posting my street photography shots (and perhaps a few street portraits thrown in) as well.  I’m shooting a lot more film, so you’ll see more of that too.  One stop shopping, folks!!   So in short: what used to be People in the Trenches is now TRENCH PHOTOS.  The original Trench Photos is now defunct. I’ll see you over there and thanks, as always, for following. Â

these vintage milk crates totally charmed me.Â
Looking at this film shot, I wished I’d taken the opposite approach with it and focused on the old cages in the foreground allowing the basket to be blurry.  Thoughts?  For those interested, this is Fuji film I overexposed 1 stop in camera (same developing process.)

I’ve only reblogged something once before.  This one resonates because I’m going to be in Vilnius in July. Plus this photo is pretty fantastic. Â
