Cat Remodels Box, Adds Front Porch

The spare bedroom above the garage was once considered an undesirable place to live. But that’s starting to change, thanks to some enterprising real estate entrepreneurs who have been snapping up properties in the room and rehabbing them.

The latest improvement to the area comes from cat real estate mogul Snuffy, who purchased a rundown box by the closet and had it completely gutted.

The most noticeable change Snuffy made was the addition of a front porch.

"What this neighborhood has really lacked is curb appeal," said Tony Barrett, a real estate agent. "What Snuffy has done to the box has really transformed this little corner of the bedroom. I could absolutely see this being an area young professionals will want to live in now."

The box is back on the market — for twice what the cat paid — and there has reportedly been interest from both the family dog and a couple of bunnies.
