Pray

Throughout this psalm David shows his trust in God and his great desire to draw close to Him. Yet in the trials and challenges of life God can seem distant, and our sins can cut us off from Him. So David begged God not to turn him away or hide His face. He earnestly asked God not to leave or forsake him.

Dear Lord, Guide us to become more intentional about praying together with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We ask your blessing to become stronger spiritually as individuals and as a community. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Prayer groups are extremely important for us as individuals and as a community. Through prayer, the impossible is made possible and our daily battles are fought on higher ground. As spiritual friends, we comfort one another through struggles, celebrate joys and bring others to know Christ, our Lord and Savior. Gathering for prayer strengthens our faith and community with one another.

Never forget

How far you have come.

Everything you have gotten through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you couldn't. All the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up but you got through another day. Never forget how much strength you have learned and developed all the way… JJP
