Amy loves to cuddle when she is at home with friends or a date. When she is with Shelby the two would talk about how their two teams are the same or different. Amy would also want to watch movies with Shelby and share a thing of popcorn. If they are out… what is a better way for a day out then shopping and practicing her moves! Shelby is an excellent sparing partner since they both prefer to kick their enemies.

Amy smiled brighter and held up her own phone. “Two pieces of black mail for the price of one.” Amy was about to open the camera when she thought of another idea. “Let’s get Souji-kun into this!! It would be even better!!”

“Oh geez, he’ll never go for it, but you can at least ask him.”

For some reason Souji made her a teeny little bit nervous, and she didn’t know why.

Abby turned the page, moving on to Kathrine, then Cassie. When she turned the page to Kendrix she paused, frowning. “Kendrix Morgan,” Abby began, “Was the only human Ranger to ever die while fighting the forces of evil. This is how Kendall knows the Galaxy team, she and Kendrix are sisters.”

“....Oh.....”

Shelby swallowed and reached out to trace her fingers over the picture. She had no idea what to say other than that. Sitting back up a bit, she reached for her water then looked back at Abby.

Abby stepped into the living room a couple minutes later. Silently she scanned a bookshelf until she came across a pink binder. She pulled it off the shelf and joined Shelby on the couch.

“I figured I’d give you a basic rundown of your predecessors before you actually meet them,” She opened up the binder to show a scrapbook page with various pictures of a woman with short brown hair and a bright happy face. 

“Earth’s first Pink. Kimberly Hart.” Abby then spoke of Kimberly both as a person and as a Ranger.

Shelby cautiously leaned against Abby’s shoulder and looked at the pictures. “Cool,” she said softly.

“I can try, but he’s really stubborn,” she mumbled.

“It doesn’t hurt to try,” Abby said with a small smile. “My dad and brother thought I was going to be like them and join the army, but you see where I am now.”

It wasn’t long before Abby pulled into her garage and led Shelby into the house. “Go ahead, make yourself at home. Kitchen is right through there if you want anything to eat or drink, and the living room is just through there.” She gestured toward the rooms in question as she hung up her jacket and keys.

Shelby nodded and headed into the kitchen, getting a glass of water before going into the living room to sit down. Kicking off her shoes, she curled up on the end of the couch and waited for Abby.

“Yeah, and good luck convincing my dad to let me do it,” Shelby grumbled as she sank back in her seat with a scowl.

Abby raised an eyebrow, “Have you actually tried talking to him about it? Maybe if he heard your side of things he might be more willing to accept a career change?”

“I can try, but he’s really stubborn,” she mumbled.

Shelby blinked at her expression, and went quiet, staring back out the window as she twisted her necklace chain loosely around her finger. “Okay,” she said.

Deciding to change the subject, Abby glanced at Shelby for half a second before turning her eyes back to the road. “So, you wanna be a paleontologist huh?”

“Yeah, and good luck convincing my dad to let me do it,” Shelby grumbled as she sank back in her seat with a scowl.

Abby gave Shelby a sad smile, “That’s something we’ll discuss later.” Of course she couldn’t hide Kendrix from Shelby, but the veteran Dino Ranger felt it was something Kendall should tell the team herself.

“The…oh! Okay,” Shelby giggled, combing a hand through her hair. “How is this going to work?” she asked, looking curiously over at Abby.

Abby unlocked the car and slipped into the driver’s seat. “We’ll go back to my place, I’ll cook some food, I’ll give you Pink Ranger History 101, and we just chat.”

Shelby nodded as she climbed in, putting her seatbelt on. “So I heard rumors that Miss Morgan knew one of the other teams already, is that true?”
