I think fanon Sans is sometimes too emotional and romantic. Sans has some issues, sure, but Sans doesn’t seem that expressive to me. He’s tired and always smiling. And he doesn’t seem that romantically inclined. Not that he couldn’t be. He’s obviously shown that he could put forth a lot of effort into doing nice things for people he cares about. But all the pining, all the crying, etc. I think is a little much. He seems more like the type to bury it.

To me, he comes across kind of like the Cheshire cat at first. Y’know, all smooth and mysterious. Even those brief glimpses into his emotions are seriously low-key and not at all emotional. So pictures of him blubbering all over the place and blushing left and right kind of confuse me.

I like that he’s the kind of guy that seems to get off on the extreme shittiness of things because I’m sort of the same way. He likes bad jokes, bad food, bad clothes, etc. And I can’t imagine him in a cutesy-cutesy relationship, either, which is why a lot of Soriel content doesn’t do it for me and I tend to prefer their non-romantic stuff better. The stuff where they’re just telling shitty jokes and being trash friends.

This is kind of all over the place. I’m half-distracted and just trying to get some thoughts out.
