WHAT IS IT: Sunscreen!!

Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel

I like this sunscreen so much! I feel like it's moisturizing enough that I could skip moisturizer. True to it's claim that there's no whitecast and it's lightweight and it didn't make me oil up like other sunscreen would. 10/10!!!!

BLK Cosmetics Sheer Sunscreen Primer Stick

I was eye-ing the Shiseido sunstick but it was soo expensive so when this brand came out it with this I did not hesitate to buy. I've never tried sunscreen stick before buying this, sad to say tho it was mid. Meh. More on 80% didn't like it 20% okay.

It was silicone-y, I did not like that.

It can make your face matte that's a plus as an oily skin person.

It's not oil controlling (but it doesn't claim to be fyi)

When trying to use this up till the very end it fell off! Bruh.

EvoLudern Micellar Cleansing Water

Alcohol free

Can remove waterproof makeup (ex: mascara, I just apply the micellar on a cotton pad, put it over my eyes, let it sit et voila!)

Issy and Co. Cleansing Butter (phase out)

Has a fragrance

Even if the micellar water removed my mascara I still double cleanse because there might still be some residue I was not able to remove with the micellar water

Does the job well

I did find it inconvenient to scoop out the product

boH Cica Panthenol Blemish Cleanser

Was using this when I was breaking out (July 2023) did not see a difference, I thought it would dry out my acne but it didn't prolly wouldn't go back to this cleanser.

Derma Natufian Niacinamide Serum

Affordable? YES.

Does it work? I think. Since I am breaking out I will have to keep using this product during and post break out because I wanna believe its the kind of product you have to keep using in order to work. PS: I have been using this product for years but I have to pause if I wanted to try out new skincare.

Will I still keep using this? Probably.

Jumiso Yes, I Am Toner

My sister gave this to me to treat my Bacne before buying the body cleanser from Some by Mi. I didn't use it lol it was already half empty when she gave it to me, I didn't mind it but I wanted to use the product I bought to treat my Bacne. When I started breaking out in July of 2023 I did try to use it on my face but it had like a smell that was off I decided to throw it out.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Water Gel

I've always wanted to try this out, the second I had, tried it immediately then saw a video on Tiktok that mostly you're just paying for water ang glycerin on it. Was dissapointed of course, I was planning to buy it again if it didn't broke me out. Fyi, I didn't broke out but I did not buy it again because of what I saw on Tiktok.

Belo Acne Pro Pimple Gel

I had this in my skincare pantry for a while now so again when I started breaking out (July 2023) before buying anything else I tried this one but it was yellowish it had been open for some time now I feel like it would still work it still has that slight tinging effect when put on active pimple but I just didn't want to risk it, good thing I had another one so I just used that but then I'm too impatient because the pimple were not drying out fast enough for my liking.

BONUS: Glow Lab Minis

These three came in a kit along with a night cream that had gone bad that I threw out first before I was thinking I could still use these when travelling but ya girl is broke! I ain't going aywhere! No ma'am. I know these are waaay past their expiration date and never been opened so I just said Auf Wiedersehen to them.

I'm taking care of my son's skin so when he grows up hopefully he takes care of his own like I'm learning how to take care of mine. Mainly I started with this lotion because I don't want him to have ashy knees lol. It's great also because both lotions are fragrance free!

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

Never going back to Vaseline! I think the trick if you're living in a hot and humid climate is to do lotion right after you take a shower, one of the best decisions of mine was to put it inside our bathroom. I don't feel sticky, my skin feels hyrated throughout the day.

The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil

I forgot the shade of this one. I really do recommend this product for beginners it had a slanted tip for easy use since it's a pencil you wouldn't be able to put on too much (unless you're heavy handed) it's all about the pressure when you put it on. I haven't emptied this product but I had to throw it out because I had it for 7 years!!! *side eye* and it was given to me by my ex *bombastic side eye*. Adequate amount left, the pencil had some whiting on the side maybe an indication that it was drying out. Still usable but I had to do what I had to do and throw it out. *criminal offensive side eye* LOL

Ellana x Project Vanity Eyebrow Pencil in Light Brown

This one I recommend for people who has oily skin (oily brows represent!) It stays on so well! I got the wrong shade I thought I could still make the light brown work on my black haired brows but broo it really was light brown. Twas' a shame I don't remember when I had this but I've had the Face Shop one longer it started to have a smell so I had to say bye-bye to it.

Ellana Glass Skin Glow Cooling Facial Spray

I don't remember if this one was a freebie or if I bought it lol. This gives you an instant glow when sprayed the only problem was the spray nozzle it was like spitting so I just spread it out quickly on my face. It had like this golden sparkle it gives you it's really nice for people with dry skin as an oily person I can still use it too for those days you want to have a glow but you're lazy to do your make up. Really lightweight and gentle. They actually "upgraded"? this one, it doesn't come in a spray anymore but comes with a pump, same consistency (runny) but when I tried that one the golden shimmers just stuck to my hand. I think its better when it was in a spray bottle.

GRWM Cosmetics Life - Proof Fixing Spray Matte Variant

I thought as first it didn't work because I got the 30ml one just to try. But you really have to spray this one a lot to work. I still did get oily on my t-zone after a few hours , still had some makeup transfer on my mask feeling like the small one wasn't enough I bought the 100ml one lol. I really want this spray to work because #local I have a responsibility to support it and it was a woman owned company. Will be back for a more update once I'm done with the 100ml one.

Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 DAYS MIRACLE ANCE CLEAR BODY CLEANSER

I bought this product because I was getting Bacne. I was already breaking out on my face I was not about to let my back have one too. Unfortunately, it did not work on me SIGH. I think it made my Bacne worse, it did dry out the existing ones I have but again it made it worse. I was halfway down with the bottle when I made the decision to stop using it. I just used the remaining product on my grandma lol (PS: my lola has a broken left wrist so I have to give her a bath) My lola is a sweaty person and with sweat comes odor more often than not, I think it worked on her because the sweaty smell she had lessened. Probably better for that use rather than treating Bacne.

Deonat Mineral Deodorant

TBH, I don't remember having a skin/hygiene routine when I got pregnant back in 2018. All I remember is I had to stop BHA on my routine because it's not suitable for preggy women. During and post pregnancy my underarms became really dark but eventually after awhile it did lighten but it did not came back as it was before. I was just at a drugstore when I came across this product. Haven't tried stick tawas (alum) or stick deodorant before so why not right? The one I got is the Brightening one (they have 2? variations of this kind) If you're used to the roll on or the usual stick one, this one is different because it's a literal stick! It was weird to use at first because I was used to roll on deodorant, you have to wet the top with water then rub it in! Simple. Now, did it whitened my underarms? Not sure. But what made me repurchase this product is how 60g of product can literally last you a year! And I did not have an odor!! I'm not a sweaty person to begin with but if you live in a climate same as me you are going to sweat. Yes I sweat it's normal but no odor I tell you!!!

(left to right) Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow -  This one hurts. I believe I had this one before the pandemic I wanna say 2018 or 2019. One of my first purchase in Sephora. When Fenty released this glosses are making a comeback and boy it was hyped! Even though it was kinda a nude shade, I don't look pale when it was just this on my lips. There are some gloss formulas that's a lot lighter than this but Miss Fenty put glosses back in the map! I salute! I had to throw this one out even tho I know it's waaay past the expiration date but the last time I put it on it felt uncomfortable on my lips like stinging effect that I didn't feel the first time I used it.

Maybelline Lipstick in Honey Cherry - This one was a surprise because ever since my sister told me Maybelline tested on animals I try my best to stay away from the brand (except for their masacara lol) but the shade is so nice that it's one of the lipsticks from maybelline that leaves a stain. I don't know if there is a claim in this product that it leaves a stain but it does. It dried up after a long time of no use and I just don't see myself using it soooo.. BYE.

Sunnies Face Lip dip in LYSM & Boysenberry - When people reviewed this product, they compared it to the one in 3CE they said its similar but I don't know. Really velvety, light, nice smell and color pay off, leaves a bit of stain. The reason I'm saying bye-bye is that after using it recently when they're just waiting to be used up by me, I noticed they sit on the cracks on my lips when tho I moisturized my lips with lip oil before putting it on. The smell is actually the same, feels the same as the time I first put it on it just doesn't look good on my lips anymore.

3CE Blush in Diotima - Straight from my sister's trip in Korea. Originally wanted Cabbage Rose but I wasn't informed that that shade was the best seller so I quickly searched the safest shade I thought would suit me that was available then I had Diotima. Regret lol. It was orange with a hint of brown that didn't really suit me well. It was like holding a clay pot then smeared my fingers on my cheeks to have a color on my face that is what this shade looks like on me. Barely used. :(

Colourette coloursnap in Waves - Cute packaging, travel friendly, multi use. One of the main ingredient is Castor oil, was a bit hesitant to put in on my cheeks because oily skin then putting on castor oil based product on my face didn't wanna risk it. I did try however to use it on my lips but not long lasting not a lot of stain. Barely used as well. :(

(right to left) Moone Beauty Glowgasm Duo in Celestial & Moonlight - Was fortunate to buy this at the height of Covid 19, as per the brand they would give a percent (forgot how much) of their sales to our frontliners. So me being me, I bought because why not? I'd be spending and helping at the same time lol. It sets really fast tho so be quick with the blending. I was so stoked that Manny MUA reviewed this product on his channel. Unfortunately, as time passes by, I don't really use highlighters anymore when doing my make up and both applicator fell when I used it the last time! Oops.

Colourette Cosmetics Shimmertint in Yellow Diamond - This is a great product when you don't want a blinding highlight and just a shimmer on you face the downside of this product is the packaging. It's an oil based product that when not is use it seperates hence the "shake me up real good" on the bottle. Honestly I used it more that the Moone highlighter it's just it takes time for the shimmer and oil to come together like I rolled the bottle on my bedroom floor when starting my make up, turned it upside down the stubborn shimmers are really stuck at the bottom.

Amisha Cosmetics Glow Tint in Angel - This was from a small business I saw on Tiktok first. It was really homemade that the product smells like a shampoo I used to use before. But the highlight! Was amazing!! Kinda comparable to the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb one but this one is more fuller? Idk if its the right word. Silver shimmers really pretty <3

Wet n Wild Photofocus Foundation in Buff Bisque - On my quest to find my foundation shade this is one of the many fails I've had. Great formula but again not my shade. I got the shade that is too pink for me. Me being a dumbass, I always try to match my foundation to my face not my whole body. SMH.

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Cream to Powder Concealer in Radiant - Upon checking the brand's website I read that it is designed for Oily and Acne prone skin (ME) but this product is too creamy and the shade I got is too yellow. I find their shade range are either too yellow or pink and nothing in between. So yea. Kinda sucks.

Loreal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer in Vanilla - Now if you're reading this I assume you know this concealer that great reviews. And I think it is a great concealer, really full coverage. The problem is not this concealer but me lol it's just trying to cover my acne prone sometimes textured skin with something full coverage saddens me because I know hours of wear it'll look cakey on me.

Another Bright Cleansing Pad - This was my sister's purchase from Korea, she had to give it to me for whatever reason lol she did told me that this cleansing pad does not remove waterproof masacara which was a negative and it has a really powerful citrus-y smell that is just overwhleming. Although I did not use it on my face I just use it to remove swatches on my arm.

Iunik Tea Tree Relief Serum - This product really help calm down the redness because of my acne. I really thought I bought a bogus product because I didn't really see an effect on my face but I realized I was using it for the wrong reason. Had to stop it for awhile because I wasn't breaking out for some time then I used it again, when I had really inflamed acne. This serum thought me that you really have to stop and just analyze what going on with your skin, what's causing the breakout then do your research or look over your skincare pantry if you have any products that could help your skin situation before buying anything else.

Happy Skin Hyaluronic + B3 boost capsule serum - Didn't really see a massive difference on my skin. One thing tho, it did not broke me out.

Panoxyl Acne Creamy Wash - I'm so happy that I found this IG page that sells this brand! I've been looking for this product for sooo long because this one helped with my acne since college days then it was phased out. Luckily tiktok is bringing this product back but you can only buy it online not in drugstores.

Happy Skin Invisible Sun Gel Primer - For me, it feels really silicone-y. I would oil up faster when using this product with or w/out make up. Just wanted to try it. Pricey? Uhmm Yes.

Centellian 24 Madeca Cream - Night time moisturizer for years now! Sad thing is I'm not using it as often as I would like because I work at night and this moisturizer is too heavy for work. Still does what supposed to do, help calm down redness, helps with skin barrier and when you wake up in the morning your skin looks real plump!

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Strawberry Lip Scrub - I got this as a freebie way back when. Didn't really use it when I checked all the products I have that's just sitting on my shelf not being used to their full potential, it got bad. Smells really good before like strawberry vanilla it has a pink tint after when you used it. But then again, I don't really see myself using it.

WHAT IS IT:  Quick Declutter of Dec 2022

THOUGHTS:

Eco Tools Sponge - Had this one for awhile, it had small cuts from me not being gentle when washing my sponges. I could still use it but it annoys me to see the small cuts in the sponge, so I threw it out. I cut it in half so any dumpster divas who sees this won't use it for their safety and also just wanted to see what was inside lol.

Rraw Skicare Clayey Mask - Aside from not being consistent when doing a mask, didn't really see much of a difference. I was not familiar with the ingredients of this mask. However, I did like that it was green lol (it's giving Shrek), very diff from the other masks I've tried. My skin does feel smooth after but it does leave a slight green tint after not really a dealbreaker for me because I only use it at night.

I'M MEME I'm Mystery Flash Tint in Mystery Rose Ade (Mini) - This was a freebie when I bought something from the brand last May of 2021. Didn't really like it at first because of the smell (smells like a strong wine, and I am not a fan) but I got used to it because I brought it with me to work. It's very convenient since it's a mini. The tint was just okay. Nothing special I'd say. Does not sit on the cracks of the lips, it stays on the lips for a good amount of time. Overall okay.

Essence Eyeshadow Primer - Since I don't wear makeup on a daily, but when I do wear makeup I usually skip the eyeshadow just a brown color whether it be my bronzer/contour shade that's fine. I just bought it because I think it might be nice to have one just in case. Didn't really see the full potential of this product as I had it for a long time and when tiktok was showing hacks on how to make an eyeshadow last longer, I didn't hesitate to throw this one out.

Face Republic Perfect Cover BB Cream - This was again a freebie when I bought a sunscreen from the brand. TBH the only thing I remember when I used it was the shade was too light for me, didn't really remember if it worked on my oily/acne prone skin. Sarreh!

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics OG/BB Foundie in ButterMilk - More of a letdown but not a terrible product. First letdown (in terms of my bank account) is it is Php 999 OG price ($18.34), Second, it's not a lot of product (let me rebutt that later), Third, is the packaging, its travel friendly but at the same time not because the product is kinda liquid-y so it's prone to spillness. So now that's out the the way let me talk about the good. Not a lot of product but a little goes a long way! The shade if kinda off for me but if I put a good amount it's okay. I got kinda confused about the BB side because its more of a foundation for me I'd say medium to full coverage. I have to be honest there is still alot of product but I just don't see myself using it anymore.

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics x Project Vanity Eyebrow Pomade in Dark Brown - Last really long but the product itself is prone to drying. I drop it with an oil just to keep it from drying but if you're not using it alot, it dries. I tried to give it another chance but the product it way too dried up for me to use it, I can't even get a proper amount using my brow brush. I had to let it go unfortunately. But great product if you're the type who does their brows everyday, this product will not fail you just watch out for the drying part.

Happy Skin Face the World Air Serum - Shade: UNKNOWN lol. Don't quote me on this but I think it's one of the first local brand that released a liquid face base. Doesn't really clarify what it actually is but I think it more of a skin tint. The shade is really close to my skintone even tho they release just ONE shade of this! They discontinued this product and for good reasons. Now I may not know the real reason behind why they stopped producing it by my hunch is that it didn't really do good in the market. Little back story: I believe they released it the time when not a lot of people invest in face bases (foundation, skin tints, bb creams) what's hot in the market back then was lip tints or lip products. The reason people did not invest in this is because the OG price is Php 1299 ($23.85)!!! Crazy! And not very inclusive to the pinay/pinoy skintone. I did not buy it the OG price I did got it on sale for Php 299. I remember this was manufactured in 2017 but I had it for a long time because out of all my face bases this was the closes to my skintone when I found another product from another brand I had to dispose it. *Just an update on this brand since it's 2023, they have kinda rebranded they have a ton of collections still great products, still hits and misses. But when they release a foundation/skin tint, it’s still not shade inclusive like other local brands who can release 9 shades minimum then expand it later on but this brand still releases 5 shades maximum. This is a very well known brand here in the Philippines but please do better.

Detail Cosmetics Contour and Blush Palette - I bought this waaaayy back 2016 or 2017 I believe. I mostly used the contour/bronzer shade because cream/liquid blushes were a hot hot thing back then (up until now) but powder blushes are making a comeback since last year 2022. It was cheap, it was chalky for how some people would describe it. A lot of fall out. But it was a nice beginner friendly palette because it has instructions on how or where to put in the product.

Derma Natufian Niacinamide Serum - Cue DJ Khaled's ANOTHER ONE lol!

Fairy Skin Premium Brightening Suncreen - a Tiktok budol! I have to try it for myself since this product was AFFORDABLE! Like I think Php 150 ($2.75) I was happy to use up this product because I could put alot of this without having to think to save this product since the price was cheap. I did notice a bit of pilling when blending to my skin but that wasn't a negative to me because I don't put on make up that much. I actually have another one saved just in case lol.

Issy and Co. Brow Refiner - This came with another product when I bought it, it was a set. I tried religiously to put it on my brows every night. Since my brows needed some help but unfortunately I did not see any changes. I gave up on the product. I think this is just Castor Oil (don't quote me on that) I have tried Castor Oil before but did not work on me. I did threw it out with a little bit of product left but then again.. useless.

Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash - Another one from Bestie! This product was okay. Did not really feel a massive difference on my skin, only my skin feels soft after washing but that's it. I think it's more for people with drier skin (I have oily skin). But again, it's okay did not make me break out tho.

                                                     Lip Oils Detail Costemics Plumping Jelly Lip Oil - I just wanna try out the product plus it's a local brand so meaning it was not a huge break on my bank. Did not really see the plumping effect but you can feel it. It's cooling and that feeling of plumping but gone after a few minutes of applying it. It's a thumbs down. Sorry.

Fenty Beauty Mini Universal Lip Luminizer in fu$$y - So I don't use it at night but since it's already included it the picture, Imma include it in this category. I have very pale lips (anemic probs) so did not really see the very sheer pigment of this gloss. Since it's a mini, there was very little product. Looks good on the lips tho, not lightweight (for me) but still comfortable. I like the shimmers. Use it on top of lipstick? Ugh.. PASS lol. I hate topping clear gloss or sheer glosses on top of lipstick. I know I know. But I just don't like getting the applicator getting another shade of liptstick, gives me the ick.

BLK Cosmetics Lip Oil - Another okay product. It's not giving long lasting. Lol. But it is giving spilling when the product is closed. Bruh. I was over it.

Strokes Silk Kiss Lip Oil in Passionate Peach - I'm actually amaze at myself for buying ONE product from this brand and put up with the shipping. It's OG price is Php 348 ($6.39) but they mostly go on sale. If you can't tell by that statement, it's a great product! I'm surprised honeslty. This one is moisturizing, long lasting and they have a variety of cute shades. I believe it is my 2nd lip oil from this brand it can be used on its own or on top of lipstick which btw lemme just clear up my earlier statement from before it's okay (for me) to use pigmented glosses on top of lipstick if it's the same shade or close. But clear glosses? NO. Oh and let's not forget the downside.. the spilling!!!! Like the one from BLK Cosmetics.

Ellana Mineral Cosmetics Calm Skin Cleansing Oil - I looove cleansing oils! I actually prefer them than balms. It's great! It's supposed to do what it claims to do. No ragrets. No negative review on this product.

WHAT IS IT: Lotions (Body Care)

THOUGHTS:

Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Restore Lotion - This was my go to Lotion for awhile since it was cheap lol. My bestie gave me a big one of these way back 2020 or 2021. I really liked it because it does not feel heavy on the skin, it absorbs right away but I noticed that it did not give a long lasting moisture on the body. Would I repurchase? I might actually.. Like I said it's cheap. (little spoiler: I'm currently using the Aveeno daily moisture lotion, and I'm satisfied to say the least)

Aveeno Baby Dermexa - This is actually my son's lotion lol. I had to buy it when my son's pedia recommended it when my son was having a rash. I haven't really tried Aveeno products then until I bought this. It was expensive but GOOD. It was actually heavy on the skin (I tried some :D) but boy, it is moisturizing!! Since the Vaseline one did not give lasting moisuture I used to take a little bit of this and add to the parts of my body where it needed some TLC aka the heel of my foot lol. Would I repurchase? Since my son's skin is a lot better now, I opted for a good lotion but a more affordable one. So no, maybe in the future but the very very distant future if my son needed it, I will buy it.
