Tuition hike.

No increase in tuition for in state residents but tuition increase for out of state students and grad students. The chances of me transferring now are very very high. Fuck UCs.

Ah westwood, where you find shirtless guys gagged. I wish frats didn't haze. This doesn't apply to just Greek life but also preprofessional. I do understand that it's "tradition" but why do they have to make people feel like complete shit before being "nice" to them....

Rant

The news on Stanford’s cheating reminded me of this….that the same happens at UCLA. 

There was a couple sitting in front me during my final for one of my classes. They were sitting with an empty seat in between them like the professor enforced to prevent cheating however the guy was able to hang his paper with answers off his table so his girlfriend on his right could copy every word. This happened about 5 or 6 times and I had a fucking cough attack every time hoping that they’d get the hint that I wasn’t blind. Sure I could’ve reported it to the professor but then I would become involved and thats a pain the ass. I would have to go through a cheating trial (or w/e its called) with them and waste my time when it doesn’t directly involve me. 

And this is only one example. 

I’ve been cheated off of. My roommates been cheated off of.

Nobody wants to report because the cheatee gets treated like shit.

Its not fair. 😔

I’ve gotten rejected from everything I applied to this quarter. They encourage us to get involved on campus but how can I when they all require apps and reject the majority of people? Why is everything so exclusive?

I UNDERSTAND THE RUDENESS! I feel people here also severely lack spatial reasoning, it's something you are supposed to learn in early childhood but I guess most people here just skipped that part.

How are you feeling about life at UCLA right now? I am a transfer and it's my second quarter and I was kind of on the fence concerning how I felt about being here during fall quarter but after the break I realized I am really unhappy here and I have no idea what to do about it :(

Hi! I’m on the same boat (I’m a freshman though). I’ve decided to mainly focus on school work. But also, I’ve looking into some clubs/activities I could join so I could feel more at home and that I actually belong here….I’ll probably sign up for some at the Spring Activities fair. I’m just hoping for best right now and just going with the flow. I hope things get for you!! If you ever need to talk/rant etc, leave me an ask :)

Possible out of state 17% tuition hike 😭😭. What the fuck. Like there's already basically no out of staters. We're a rare breed. We already have to pay $$ and now even more wtf. Are they trying to not have any out of staters here.
