Doing a report against ‘assault weapons’ bans.

I am not going in to the ‘why I need it’ argument, as I don’t think it matters if its needed. 

But any info (with sources please), on the ineffectiveness of such a ban and the lack of a need for it would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Assault weapon is a made up scare term. Explain that there is no functional difference between hunting/sporting rifles and “big black scary” rifles.
