Sign-Up FAQ

Before sign-ups open, we wanted to create a thread of some potential questions we see coming up in the sign-up process.

Do I need to have an AO3 account to participate in the event?

Yes, an AO3 account is required to sign up for the exchange and all participants will be required to post their fan work created for the exchange on AO3 during the period in which the collection is anonymous, including artists or people working in other visual or auditory mediums. Don't worry! We will have a guide to posting art, etc. on AO3 which will be sent out during the creation period. After creators are revealed, everyone is free to share their fan works on social media.

What happens if my match has no fan works I want to remix?

We would invite you to use this event as an opportunity to be creative. We will try our best to make matches based on your ship choices, and if you find that you are unable to complete your assignment we may be able to rematch or find another resolution, but ultimately we hope that you make your best attempt to work with the match you’ve been given.

Are there any restrictions on content for the event?

Trigun Remix has no restrictions on content for remixes, we simply ask that all works be appropriately tagged and warned for. However, your recipient may have DNWs in their request, and you are required to abide by these in your remix.

sign-ups will go from 12/1-12/15

matches will be sent 12/20

contributions due 3/10

the collection (anonymous) will be revealed on 3/18

creators will be revealed 3/20!

the last day to drop will be 2/15
