Yay, Act IV of Day #2 of A Day in The Life of TchaikovsKYLO Ren, my ongoing silent movie series starring our favorite dramatic bitch Kylo Ren and all his scenes edited to Tchaikovsky music with new dialogue. In this act Poor Kylo is starting to lose it! Rey’s had enough (lobster guy was right!), ginger murder fox tries to weasel his way in (Kylux alert!), the wonder twins meet again at last and Luke has had enough of all these dumbass kids.

Sorry it took awhile, I’ve been sick and depressed as hell, but the next (and final!) video is already started. Had to condense this one a bit, it was too big for Tumblr, so I hope the quality isn’t too crappy looking. Me: tells trombonist to put his pen in his pocket and only bring pencils to class.

Trombonist: “I don’t want to put the pen in my pocket. The last time I did, it exploded and my mom got really mad” (they wear uniforms so the pants are expensive)

Saxophone kid: *quietly from across the room* That’s not the only thing that explodes in your pants.

Me on the outside: That’s innapropriate, you can’t say things like that in class.

The flute world responds to sexual harassment claims against Bradley Garner. UC remains silent

"It's been made ... clear in a lot of industries that we are not going to tolerate harassment and assault," a flutist said. "It's the flute world's turn."

As someone who has experienced something like what Brad Garner did to his students, I can say that Brad Garner is scum for doing this to his students. While mine was one incident and I can’t 100% relate, my heart goes out to the women of his studio that he has hurt in any way, and I’m thankful for Randy Bowman and Helen Spielman for speaking out. This cannot happen anymore.

This was one of the worst kept secrets in the flute world and it shouldn’t have been. Thank you to the students who came forward and to the people who have been calling him out.

I would like to add that there is a petition that I urge you to sign, calling for the National Flute Association to ban him from all further conventions. Please help us ensure that he is punished publically for his despicable actions.

Last night I decided to find out what type of succulents I’ve had for the past year and a half. ( they’re called gasteria) I then fell down the rabbit hole of succulent/cactus care. Found out I haven’t been caring for my plants the way I should. couldn’t sleep trying to process all the knowledge. Today I repotted all my plant babies, and I’m hoping they’ll stay healthy despite it being the middle of winter, and the best time to repot is the spring. 😬
