An Afternoon at 88.3 The Wind

It's 2:30 in the afternoon and I'm testing out tumblr. Wondering what you are doing at this point in your day...laundry, chasing kids, hollering for the dog, or curling up with a book and a kitten? No matter what you are doing I hope that you are able to recognize the "God connection" that is seeded in your day. Maybe it's just a simple piece of gratitude that you take away from a quick moment - that's ok, great in fact. The important thing is that we slow down enough to recognize there is something to be thankful for somewhere in your day. Enjoy!

Sharathon 2011

Sharathon ended yesterday and a few feelings are left behind. First, a huge feeling of gratitude. A big thank you to everyone who supports 88.3 The Wind - some of you gave faith promises, others said prayers, some brought lunch or treats, and all where noticed and appreciated.

The next feeling was a bit of disappointment. While we all pulled together for the greater good of ministry, we still fell short of our goal. This hurts a little when expectations are high.

However, that brings about the last feeling and that is blind faith. There are so many great things that 88.3 The Wind wants to do here in the Ozarks, and beyond, that with faith and trust we can and will get them done despite being a few (or several) dollars short of a man-made goal.

Together with you, faith and prayer we will continue to find ways to do what we are lead to do. CleanAIR is more than music, it's about saving and changing lives. It's about inspiring and encouraging someone to find and share passion that stems from a heart on fire for God. Thanks for all you do and please keep the prayers coming.
