My name is Eris, and I am the oldest daughter of my parents at 14 years, mortal realm time.

I am, I suppose for lack of a better term, a 'star'. Not an actual star dumdum.

Hi!! I'm Mercury! But you can call me Yuri! Everyone else does!

My twin is Melinoe even though we are cousins and not sisters.

We were born on the same day but at different times. I was born at 6:06:06 am. I'm a morning person for sure!

I'm the only daughter of my parents, Draconia Hamato and Leonardo Hamato (Hell's Heros AU), at 9 years mortal realm time.

My ma is a demon-werewolf hybrid, so that makes me a demon-werewolf-human-red earrsd slider hybrid. That's a mouthful.

The little demon in blue smoke appears in a flash bang of bright blue flames, giggling before disappearing and reappearing in another flre up if the blue fire again, over his shoulder.

"Boo, again!"

She is no longer hiding in blue smoke today, feeling far more bold than before.

[What if he simply pretended to keel over. What then.]

Agh.....oh god.....I'm having a heart attack.....goodbye cruel world....

Yuri tilted her head.

"You're very dramatic." She giggled.

Yeah, well, you should know better than to scare the crap out of an old man like that. Geez.

Yeah, yeah. It's a joke. Laugh it up and be glad you didn't scare the crap out of one of my brothers instead. Donnie in particular has.....not the greatest startle response in the world, let's put it that way.

"Neither does the one I know. I'm used to it. But I'm not exactly afraid of you or any of your brothers. Kind of hard to be afraid of people I'm used to. Well not ..you..you...but....well....ugh. Dimension hopping is exhausting."

Yuri sighs, rubbing her temples.

No, no, I get it. Still. Fair warning before you get whapped upside the head by a bo staff.

"Wouldn't be the first time. Won't be the last either with my track record."

Yuri shrugged.

"I'm getting better at dodging it."

She grinned, giving a double thumbs up

|| a fizzle of blue flames and a puff of dark blue smoke materialize into a short little female form, with no substance, just a silhouette with big golden eyes with slitted pupils. The clear shape of horns, wings and a tail materialize from the smoke and flames next. The golden eyes blink at their surroundings. ||

Well....that didn't work the way it was supposed to....

|| the smoke form turns in a circle and stops, startling at seeing someone. ||

Oh! Another one of you?!

[Woah hey he did not remotely trust like that. His katana was immediately raised in a defensive stance, pressing the commlink that Donnie had given him to communicate with Mikey.]

Mikey.

Yeah?

You might want to get you and Donnie back here ASAP. I think we might have a situation.

Like, "you forgot that we're out of eggs" situation, or "some otherworldly force is trying to attack you" situation?

.....potentially the latter.

Gimme five minutes.

[Click. Time to lapse back into fearless leader mode. He kept the point of the sword trained towards this newcomer, voice coming out somewhat harsh.]

Who are you, how did you get here, and what are you planning on doing here.

|| the blue smoke figure blinked up...and up at the much larger turtle. She didn't seem the least bit afraid of him and instead giggled girlishly and fluttered the smokey wings behind her. ||

|| her tail waves behind her in amusement ||

I'm Mercury. I'm not entirely sure how I got here. I'm not the greatest at portaling yet. And as for "what am I planning on doing?" Well that depends on you I guess. I've yet to be directly threatened by a version of you yet. I wonder if my subconscious mind is taking me to where I would typically feel...safe. But that sword pointed at me definitely doesn't give that vibe.

[You’re high-strung, aren’t you? He couldn’t help but huff in amusement at that, though he wasn’t entirely sure if the statement was meant to be sarcastic or not. Given that he appeared to be dealing with a demon of some kind, it really could have gone either way.

….although the fact that the creature hadn’t immediately moved to attack him and was explaining….her? Self. Lent credence to the fact that she was in fact not here to intentionally cause harm. Faded finally lowered his sword, keeping it rested by his side out of caution. There was still no telling whether this thing was trying to lure him into a false sense of security before making a move, after all, and he would rather be prepared for that eventuality than allow himself to get sneak-attacked.]

Funnily enough, you’re the second person I’ve met that’s named Mercury. And I….understand not being great at portaling at first.

[Deep breath.]

So, you know another version of me? Guess that means I can skip the introducing myself part. Sorry for, uh, being jumpy. Lot of bad experiences with people that come from other dimensions and…..don’t look entirely solid. Along with a lot of other characteristics.

"Oh! My bad!"

"Sorry! I always forget I do that whole smoke thing sometimes! No wonder you nearly jumped out of your shell! And yea you're like the fourth you that I've met actually, not including the you from my world. You can call me Yuri."

The demon child smiled, her membranous black wings fluttering so she could hover in the air like some strange version of a fairy.

"Thanks for putting that sword down. I don't have mine so that wouldn't have been a very fair fight, huh?"

She giggled, her tail waving behind her.

[Well. This certainly didn't seem like a demon intent on taking his soul or clawing out his eyeballs or.....whatever it was that demons liked to do as a pastime. Really, she just seemed like a slightly hyperactive kid. And Faded knew how to deal with kids, even if it had been at least a few years since he'd been in contact with them.]

It's alright. I, uh, you probably know by now that I have a pretty strong startle response, still. I'm trying to work on it. And damn, the fourth version of me? You've been around a lot, haven't you, kid?

[Huh. Those red markings of hers looked an awful lot like his, and add that to the fact that she mentioned having a sword.....maybe this was an alternate universe version of himself, somehow. Eh. He'd seen weirder, all things considered.]

No, it wouldn't have. Yuri, huh? Nice to meet--

LEO!

[Oh, hey. Mikey was here, eyes blazing and a fireball blossoming in each hand as he tried to surge forward.]

GET AWAY FROM HIM---

Woah, woah, Mike. It's okay.

[He put a hand out to stop Mikey just in the nick of time, bringing him to a halt.]

It's okay, she's a friend. She's just a kid. I promise, she's not going to attack us. Her name's Yuri.

[The glow slowly receded from Mikey's eyes as he considered, fireballs falling away.]

You sure?

Considering it's been like ten minutes already and she hasn't tried to suck my soul out or anything, yeah, pretty sure.

How'd she even get here.

Probably capable of inter-dimensional travel or something, Donnie would know more than us. Anyway, I think she's okay. Take a load off, will you?

[It was clear that Mikey wasn't entirely trusting of the situation even then, though, his eyes strangely piercing as he stared over at Yuri. Almost as if he was saying that if she made a single hostile move, he wouldn't hesitate to smite her right then and there.]

Yuri blinked at Mikeyvas she observed him.

"Whoosaa. That was cool! I didn't know you could do that!"

Her black dragon tail waved excitedly behind her. She glanced at Faded.

"Suck out your soul?" She giggled.

"I don't do that. I may be half demon but that's definitely not a thing for me."

[faded-neon]

Leo, I don't remotely trust like that.

Come on, she's saying you're cool and that she doesn't suck out souls. What more do you want from her. It's been twenty minutes and she hasn't attacked me.

[Mikey still seemed a bit distrustful, but he was at least polite enough to soften his expression by the smallest of degrees, even if his speech was no less sharp.]

So you're still half demon. You're not going to bring anyone else here to try and wreak havoc, are you?

[A small eye roll from Faded.]

Again, don't you think she would have done that already if she wanted to? I know it's not an apocalypse anymore, but have some faith in my decision making skills, little brother.

"I mean. I could...my mama could totally cause some panic if she wanted but we aren't like that. Mama and papa always told me that not everything is as it seems. Oh and also that whole thing about not judging a book by its cover and all that. Take my Uncle for example."

She smiles up at the two turtles, her black membranous wings fluttering.

"He looks harmless enough, but touch him without permission or say something the wrong way and he'll rip your spine out through your chest!"

She grins, showing sharp little canine teeth.

"But he usually doesn't do that unless you deserve it so, no worries there! Anywhhhooooo.....yeah. Demon doesn't automatically mean I'm a soulless evil monster. Some of us have far more class than all that."

She glanced at her nails, inspecting them, giving Mikey an unimpressed glance, her tail tip flicking back and forth.

[A small frown from Mikey.]

That thing about the uncle isn't exactly inspiring confidence. You know that, ri--

Mikey, chill for five seconds. As I said numerous times before, pretty sure if she wanted to do anything bad she would have by now. And I have a good feeling about her anyway. She's just a kid. Quit trying to be scary.

[Mikey huffed, crossing his arms as he floated in midair.]

Aren't I a little justified? Even a year ago we were fighting a war against something that could technically be called a demon and now you wanna trust them?

Does she look like the Krang to you. Have a little bit of faith in me, Mikester.

[Ruffling his hair and ignoring the offended squawk it got him.]

Fine, fine! I'll be watching, is all.

Yeah, yeah. Promise, Mr. Grumpyguts, you can smite her all you want if she tries anything funny.

[Rolling his eyes good-naturedly.]

Sorry about him. Old habits die hard, as previously established.

"No worries! Mikey is my favorite uncle anyway." She grinned again, her wings opening to flutter and lift her higher so she was more eye level with him.

"He can have a free pass on being grumpy. And the thing about my uncle ripping spines through chests not being very comforting...well...Uncle Dee would probably tell him to suck lemons and get over it...or something vaguely like that but maybe more crass..." She shrugged, clearly unbothered by sharing her dimension's family dynamic with this other Leo.

A fizzle of golden lightning manifests a short little form hidden within golden glittering smoke, with the clear silhouette of horns, wings and a long tail. The only clear feature being a pair of violet eyes.

The form looks around in curiosity.

"Well....this isn't good."

HISSSSSSSSSS.

[Mel suddenly had a very pissed off looking turtle staring at her, curling her lips back over her teeth. It seems Mel ended up in an expectant mother's nest, and she wasn't very happy about it if the look on her face was any indication.]

The little form, clearly a child, turns and eyes the hissing turtle with a mixture of wariness and aloofness.

"Uhhh. Sorry, seems I've been portal zapped by my cousin....again.."

Her form is still not clear, just her eyes.

[Okay. You had your chance to get the hell out of the nest, and the chance has passed. She snapped out at the floating eyes, still hissing up a storm.]

MY babies. MY nest. MINE.

"Yikes! Message received!"

The golden smoke floats higher up and the eyes disappear as they close.

Well hell.

She floated through a crack in a doorway and her violet ryes opened again.

"I'm going to bust Mercury's shell for this.." she muttered to herself as she looked around.

[She settled down once the threat to her babies was gone, still clicking low in her throat as she squinted suspiciously at the door before curling up and falling asleep once again.

Meanwhile, there was what appeared to be a naga of some kind watching Mel from the hallway, yellow markings looking stark in the half-light as he squinted somewhat suspiciously.]

Uh. Hello? What are you.....doing in our house.

The puff of glittery golden smoke solidifies in a snap as Mel spins around, squeezing her eyes shut and holding her arms over herhead as if to block any incoming attack.

"Ahh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Crap! Do not eat me! I am far too boney I swear! Terrible for digestion! The worst!"

She maintains a defensive crouch, her long dark purple scaled dragon tail wrapping around her as well as a pair of dark purple membranous dragon wings with weirdly sparkly jade green veins.

She is essentially cocooned by the wings, the only thing poking out now is a set of black impala horns sticking out of the top of her head from a mess of black and simple ringlet curls.

[The naga's voice was soft as they looked Mel over, gaze suddenly more sympathetic.]

Sorry. She's in nesting mode right now. About to have eggs. When she's not wrapped up in instincts she's actually very kind to strangers, I promise. Here, do you want....do you need something to eat? We can get you whatever you need.

I'm Tikhas, by the way. What's your name?

Her head lifts, peering out from behind her wings. Humanesque facial features, distinctly feminine, but with jade green skin and very distinct purple markings on her face under her eyes and on her cheeks. She blinks at the naga in what appeared to be shock.

"I... I'm....Melinoe....did...you say that was...Donnie?" She looked back at the door she had slipped through as a puff of glittery smoke and then back at the naga, Tikhas.

Puzzle pieces began to fit together. Mercury hadn't just randomly dimension hopped her...she was projecting...her frustration and sadness and it had slingshotted Mel and probably her sister as well into a different dimension but to a being that still, in essence, was connected to them.

[Tikhas didn't even seem alarmed by the fact that this newcomer looked like their mate when she finally lifted her head to gaze at him. If anything, their expression seemed to become even more sympathetic as he made it a point to relax his posture, realizing that what he was dealing with appeared to be a scared kid more than anything else.]

It's nice to meet you, Melinoe. Yes, that's Donnie, although most people just call him Shadow to have some difference between the different versions of him. He's.....I think transgender is the closest term to what this universe would call it. Used to be female, transitioned but still lays eggs. Normally she uses he/him, but she's felt more feminine since she's expecting.....our children. She's set to lay in about another month or so. Her instincts are....a little high right now. Once she snaps out of this current spell she'll feel terrible for snapping at you. I promise she isn't usually like that.

[A long pause.]

I guess you have experience with dimension-hopping, then, if you're asking about that sort of thing.

"It... isn't so much that I have any experience. My mother and father can easily. My cousin seems to have developed the ability as well...which is more than likely why I am here. And not home." She opened her wings fully and then tucked them back behind her. She had to be young, she looked small still.

"i have more experience with Donnie than I do dimension hopping. Though this is definitely a first...mine can be snippy on a bad day." She avoided using the words 'dad' or 'father in regards to even her version of the turtle.

"Aside from those things....I have no plausible idea how to return to my home dimension. My cousin's abilities seem to stem from her portaling powers unlike my parents' power. Which is a different energy signature altogether and potentially harder for my....Donnie...to track. Because he is....he has to be..tracking me...and my sister." Her tail waved along the floor in agitation as her gaze drifted downward as if she wasn't even sure of her own words. She sighed and rubbed at her temples. She just wanted to go home.

Ah. So this was....accidental, I take it.

[Not that many people were trying to end up in an angry mother's nest, he reckoned, but even still. Tikhas listened as Melinoe spoke, twitching their tail back and forth as a kind of nervous habit as they mulled her speech over.]

Yeah. Sorry that this is your first impression of all of us. Had to be a bit of a shock. And....let's see. If you really want to get back to your home dimension, Mikey or Leo might be able to help you. They're the best at making transport circles, though I'm not exactly sure how well they can go across dimensions. If you have a clear picture of where you want to end up in mind, supposedly it's a little easier. Donnie would be able to help you ordinarily, but her magic reserves are....going towards the babies right now.

[Soft sigh.]

But hey. Neither of us want you to be stuck here. So we'll do whatever we can to assist.

"Assistance returning home would definitely be...most appreciated."

She sighed as well and clasped her hands in front of her.

"The impression of you and ..Donnie..er..Shadow... isn't bad. Being a protective parent seems to run in the multi-dimensional family." She managed a small smile.

Her head lifts, peering out from behind her wings. Humanesque facial features, distinctly feminine, but with jade green skin and very distinct purple markings on her face under her eyes and on her cheeks. She blinks at the naga in what appeared to be shock.

"I... I'm....Melinoe....did...you say that was...Donnie?" She looked back at the door she had slipped through as a puff of glittery smoke and then back at the naga, Tikhas.

Puzzle pieces began to fit together. Mercury hadn't just randomly dimension hopped her...she was projecting...her frustration and sadness and it had slingshotted Mel and probably her sister as well into a different dimension but to a being that still, in essence, was connected to them.

A fizzle of golden lightning manifests a short little form hidden within golden glittering smoke, with the clear silhouette of horns, wings and a long tail. The only clear feature being a pair of violet eyes.

The form looks around in curiosity.

"Well....this isn't good."

[Mel suddenly had a very pissed off looking turtle staring at her, curling her lips back over her teeth. It seems Mel ended up in an expectant mother's nest, and she wasn't very happy about it if the look on her face was any indication.]

The little form, clearly a child, turns and eyes the hissing turtle with a mixture of wariness and aloofness.

"Uhhh. Sorry, seems I've been portal zapped by my cousin....again.."

Her form is still not clear, just her eyes.

[Okay. You had your chance to get the hell out of the nest, and the chance has passed. She snapped out at the floating eyes, still hissing up a storm.]

MY babies. MY nest. MINE.

"Yikes! Message received!"

The golden smoke floats higher up and the eyes disappear as they close.

Well hell.

She floated through a crack in a doorway and her violet ryes opened again.

"I'm going to bust Mercury's shell for this.." she muttered to herself as she looked around.

[She settled down once the threat to her babies was gone, still clicking low in her throat as she squinted suspiciously at the door before curling up and falling asleep once again.

Meanwhile, there was what appeared to be a naga of some kind watching Mel from the hallway, yellow markings looking stark in the half-light as he squinted somewhat suspiciously.]

Uh. Hello? What are you.....doing in our house.

The puff of glittery golden smoke solidifies in a snap as Mel spins around, squeezing her eyes shut and holding her arms over herhead as if to block any incoming attack.

"Ahh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Crap! Do not eat me! I am far too boney I swear! Terrible for digestion! The worst!"

She maintains a defensive crouch, her long dark purple scaled dragon tail wrapping around her as well as a pair of dark purple membranous dragon wings with weirdly sparkly jade green veins.

She is essentially cocooned by the wings, the only thing poking out now is a set of black impala horns sticking out of the top of her head from a mess of black and simple ringlet curls.

Appears in the same glittery gold smoke as before, materializing quickly unlike last time when she was just gold smoke, glitter and violet eyes. This time all of her was visible from her mane of long black and purple ringlet curls, her slim dark purple impala horns, her dark phalo green skin, dusted in violet and indigo freckles and geometric markings on her face, neck and shoulders, the rest of her features and self covered in a pink tank top and black cotton pants, to her smooth dark purple tail with a flared webbed end.

"Greetings! Happy New Year! Was your New Years Eve satisfactory?" She said, looking up at him.

Very short. For now.

|| a fizzle of blue flames and a puff of dark blue smoke materialize into a short little female form, with no substance, just a silhouette with big golden eyes with slitted pupils. The clear shape of horns, wings and a tail materialize from the smoke and flames next. The golden eyes blink at their surroundings. ||

Well....that didn't work the way it was supposed to....

[Click. Time to lapse back into fearless leader mode. He kept the point of the sword trained towards this newcomer, voice coming out somewhat harsh.]

|| the blue smoke figure blinked up...and up at the much larger turtle. She didn't seem the least bit afraid of him and instead giggled girlishly and fluttered the smokey wings behind her. ||

I'm Mercury. I'm not entirely sure how I got here. I'm not the greatest at portaling yet. And as for "what am I planning on doing?" Well that depends on you I guess. I've yet to be directly threatened by a version of you yet. I wonder if my subconscious mind is taking me to where I would typically feel...safe. But that sword pointed at me definitely doesn't give that vibe.

Faded finally lowered his sword, keeping it rested by his side out of caution. There was still no telling whether this thing was trying to lure him into a false sense of security before making a move, after all, and he would rather be prepared for that eventuality than allow himself to get sneak-attacked.]

She giggled, her tail waving behind her.

Really, she just seemed like a slightly hyperactive kid. And Faded knew how to deal with kids, even if it had been at least a few years since he'd been in contact with them.]

[It was clear that Mikey wasn't entirely trusting of the situation even then, though, his eyes strangely piercing as he stared over at Yuri. Almost as if he was saying that if she made a single hostile move, he wouldn't hesitate to smite her right then and there.]

[Mikey still seemed a bit distrustful, but he was at least polite enough to soften his expression by the smallest of degrees, even if his speech was no less sharp.]

"But he usually doesn't do that unless you deserve it so, no worries there! Anywhhhooooo.....yeah. Demon doesn't automatically mean I'm a soulless evil monster. Some of us have far more class than all that."

She glanced at her nails, inspecting them, giving Mikey an unimpressed glance, her tail tip flicking back and forth.

The little demon in blue smoke appears in a flash bang of bright blue flames, giggling before disappearing and reappearing in another flre up if the blue fire again, over his shoulder.

"Boo, again!"

She is no longer hiding in blue smoke today, feeling far more bold than before.
