Finally got the kids in my head down on a canvas! My personal take on the fallen children of Undertale's lore. Featuring also Clover of Undertale Yellow, because they're basically all that I see when I think of Justice now. ✨

I plan to do individual design sheets and notes for every child, so please expect those in the future!

The text is a little hard to read, so all of the basics are under the cut!

My take on the Fallen Humans

Hello! This is the post of my interpretation of the Fallen Humans of Undertale. Without further ado, I hope you enjoy!

🩵 Ray (He/Him), 12

Reason: Fell to the Underground alongside Oliver (🧡) out of curiosity.

Info - Ray is a kid that is always curious about the things that he finds interesting. He’s best friends with Oliver ever since elementary and basically best friends ever since. He likes to take things slow and try to come up with any solution to the problem if necessary. He has patience in him, but he is also quiet at times and thinks that waiting things out will do good for him.

🧡 Oliver (He/Him), 12

Reason: Fell to the Underground alongside Ray (🩵) for adventure.

Info - Oliver is a kid that is always craving for adventure that lurks in every corner. He always dreamed on exploring abandoned places, exploring the wilderness, and new discoveries. Oliver can be somewhat reckless at times, as he sometimes can be a little too confident on his abilities, but he knows when to be cautious on his surroundings and think things through. He is also not afraid to call people out on their mistakes and gives them a second chance to see if they are willing to change or not.

💙 Grace (She/Her), 14

Reason: Felt upset that a dance recital went wrong, thinking that she failed, fell by accident.

Info - Grace is a girl that likes to try her hardest for everyone. She loves music and dancing to the point that she wants to practice ballet just like her older sister. Grace also feels like she wants to make everyone who knew her proud, as she doesn’t want to be seen as a “failure” to everyone. You could say that she is a “perfectionist” of some sort. However despite all that, she is a very kind person and willing to help others if they need it. 💜 Anna (She/Her), 15

Reason: Went to the Underground to discover its many mysteries.

Info - Anna is a teenager that is always interested in history and the past. She is very smart and is always willing to learn about new things whenever she can, as she wants to be an explorer like her parents. She is also a fan of mysteries, urban legends, and anything that seems interesting to her, while she keeps her trusty Notebook by her side. She is also able to craft something out of the things around her and use regarding of the situation.

💚 Ness (He/Him), 13

Reason: Accidentally fell when looking for ingredients.

Info - Ness is a kid that is always optimistic and full of joy. He is always fond of his parents’ cooking skills that he wishes to become a chef just like them when he gets older. His parents owns a bakery that many people in the town likes very much and business is going well. Ness is willing to help people with their problems regardless of their background and wants to make their day a little better whenever he can. Although kind, he also has some small anger issues, as he doesn’t like it when he or his friends gets hurt or bullied in some way. Despite this, he still maintain that joyful smile on his face and looks on bright on the brighter side of things.

💛 Robin (He/Him), 12

Reason: Went to the Underground to find the missing humans.

Info - Robin is a kid that is always fond of cowboys and the Wild West when he was little. He would sometimes play cowboys with the other kids at his neighborhood amongst other things. He thinks that everyone should be treated fairly and shouldn’t let bad people get away for what they had done to others.

Seven Souls and Seven RPG Archetypes

Okay so most of you probably already know about how the snowball game and the colors of the seven souls relate to each other. Each soul color represents a specific virtue and game mechanic that you learn about as you progress through the game. It is likely that each fallen child that preceded Frisk had their soul color determine their default ability and reflected their personalities. This is why each child only got so far until they could not progress any further, because either the monsters or environment operated counter to their abilities. Unlike Frisk, who has the RED soul and the “Freedom Movement” ability, they could not adapt to the challenge and lost their “determination” to overcome.

The more I thought about it though, they more I could see each soul fitting into a specific RPG class as well.

And since I also believe the souls of the fallen children to have been the souls of the seven powerful magicians who sealed the monster’s into the mountain in the fist place I can’t help to have this as my head-canon for what each of the seven magicians were like.

UTY 2nd anniversary Day 7 - Redraw Favorite UTY art by you / Surface --- Happy 2nd Anniversary UTY!! I tried to go as all out as I could for this prompt, as I truly, truly have loved this game New + Old

Here's the sketches for my designs of the human souls, and a little more about each :]

Patience/Cornflower: While I don't believe Kris was the patience soul, I think it's a cool idea! So I decided to make them look a little like them :]. Also since they stayed with Toriel for a long time, they're wearing some of Asriel's old clothes. And no shoes since they snuck in the middle of the night.

The bow has also a detail I wanted to keep for every design. The knot on it is heart shaped, so I tried to keep the shape going on at least one of the items for each soul :] They're probably my favorite design of the bunch

Bravery/Marigold: Honestly, Im still torn on if the shorts or the dress looks better. I didn't want to go full masculine with them (even though its the manly bandanna). So I did a scalloped edge on both to give some softness. Even with the indecisiveness, this was a pretty easy design to come up with!

Integrity/Myosotis: Probably the easiest of the bunch. Just. Love some chunky off the shoulder hoodies and leg warmers. Funnily enough they look a LOT like one oc of mine dndnfnfn

Perseverance/Peony: The raincoat is a fun little nod to an oc I used to have, a pink human soul. Not an oc anymore but I still wanted to put that little reference :]

Kindness/Lily: I actually got inspired by Sunny from Cooking With Kindness! But then I slowly went more on a more original direction. I just needed a point of reference

Justice/Clover: I already had my Clover design pretty much set, I only tried to experiment with the satchel and where to put the stripes on them. The heart symbol isn't really seen there but I tried to put on the handle of the gun. If that's not visible, I can cop out with the clover in their hat/j

Soul Kids 2025-2026 Refresh

Over time, I did not like my older designs of the characters. The art is now a year old, and I've grown in character design since then. I was so focused on period accuracy and source referencing that I never infused my own personal flair into the og designs, making them look generic or awkward. Some of them were kept very similar to almost the same as the old one, while the others were remixed into something more different, but I love them so much more now.

I also have some other bonus drawings when I was refreshing these designs. I made some concepts for Nick's own tribe, as his is supposed to be wholly original with its own culture and history, and thus needed artwork concepts before designing Nick. It was primarily inspired by the clothing of the Shoshone tribe, mixed in some other references here and there, both from North America and Eastern tribal cultures.

There were also times in my classes where I was not allowed to use my tablet to draw, but I really wanted to draw some more concepts. So I sketched some stuff out on the back of my worksheet in pen and used it for reference later. Warning: some of the anatomy looks off or derpy cause I only had a pen and couldn't change it, I hate it too don't worry lol

I hope you enjoy all of this, and I'm sorry for my radio silence for the past month. After this, I will be going back to working on the comic and working on my late submission of the Undertale 10th Anniversary illustration on the side. The next 20 pages have already been scripted and paneled, but no progress on the actual drawing of them, as I needed to finish this project first. That plus school and this semester, I have to buckle down or I'll lose my place in the honors college; needless to say, I've been swamped. I'm very thankful for all of you waiting so patiently and liking my older posts even till now. Your likes really motivate me after a really cruddy day, so thank you so much. I feel rejuvenated and excited to get back to work with my little gremlins. Thank you all so much again, and have such a lovely day.

hello!! bro, I had never thought about it before your question. but now you've seen it, lol! I don't think I'll even use these designs (except for my stupid twins of course), but it was very fun! A few facts that I made up in the process: - Goldie and Ember - check out my comics, OAOA! =) 💙 Cygnet - ran away after her mother didn't come to her performance. definitely didn't want to do ballet. a difficult childhood, a tragic death. I was thinking about Swan Lake when I came up with her name 💜 Octavia - was a music lover and played the piano. very modest but kind! honor student. she climbed Mount Ebott to get unique plants for her school project. fell by accident... 💚 Spark - total sweetheart! lived with a large and loving family on a farm. he dreamed of becoming a pastry chef! I named him that because I remembered a quote from the 2019 movie Klaus "A true selfless act always sparks another." climbed a mountain trying to find his missing pet 💛 Artie - a roleplayer, lmao. local Arthur Morgan (RDR mentioned). all his friends started to grow up slowly, no one wanted to play cowboys with him anymore. went to the underground to find new partners who would never leave him. drew a beard for himself with a felt-tip pen!

maybe I should give them away as "adoptables" but giving away children sounds weird... о_о
