Mini Announcement
Talk to co-author today on the way to the airport and we decided it would be best to scrap the five pages and do an updated 5 pages with the new style. It’ll be an easier transition from the previous style to now if we do when frisk wakes up in the ruins. This should be faster to do cause I won’t be shading everything little thing ignore that.
Plus now I can do my much better looking Toriel. I’ll be making her design sheet while at the airport.

THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE CALLED?! I have just been calling them (clover and stella) Supernova. Reason: we decided that Clover would give Stella the pet name 'Starlight' and Stella would give Clover 'Sunshine'. But damn, this is very creative wtf-
To the user/artist: Will there be any ships? Or nah...?
In the comic itself? No, as it’ll focus more on the development of this cast as a friend group and their bonds with one another. But are there plans for ships between the characters? Yes. Some are original, while others have been in the fandom for a long time. Their foundations will be built up in the comic, but it's a more general platonic sense until we get to a point where we do that sequel series we planned for (this series has been in our heads for a LONG time). Most I didn't want to say as I wanted to see what people would ship from this series without our input, BUT after playing Deltarune chapter five...I have to confess to at least one....
This was the first one we came up with with this squad of goobers like *2 YEARS AGO*. Both the co-author and I were shocked that we fucking called it XDDDDDDDDDD He was lowkey worried about people thinking we're just coping Deltarune when we finally reveal this, since it'll be a long time before we show this, thus why I'm using this to just springboard this reveal. So yea there's ships in mind; maybe I will do art of those ships in the future, but not explicit in the comic. Note to add for clarification btw: Clover is genderfluid, but I consider Stella and Clover a sapphic relationship. The sapphic-specific flag is not as recognizable as the lesbian one; thus is why I used that. This isn't me retconning Clover's identity.
Just Some Goat Practices
Confession guys, I *suck* at drawing animals/animal like things. Doing Asriel and Toriel was the first time I had ever drawn animal-like things. So of course, it has come out very...awkward when I first drew them *shivers remembering the first Asriel design*. I am not happy with how I drew Toriel, especially in the five recent pages (which I'm tempted to just scrap and start over with the decided new style to start afresh). While I'm still mulling over that, I decided to sketch some practices with the faces of the two, as that's what I struggled with. I may practice more on my plane ride tomorrow, but these are them so far. Lemme know what yall think.
You know what? I’m half tempted to just redo all 5 pages from scratch cause god I hate how I drew toriel and really want to refresh her. Gonna have to talk about that with my co-author when he wakes up—

Howdy, I have a question:
I loved the redesigns you did of the 8 humans, but I have a few questions:
You showed the 8 children in 2024, but before showing them, did you have any discarded designs?
Regarding the redesigns of the 8 humans, which one took you the longest to finish in terms of the details?
Thankfully, I can answer this quickly after getting a lot of rest this break. 1. Yes, there were some discarded designs, mainly for the girls, as I was designing them while my co-creator was designing the other half. We do have one discarded beta design for Nick before we decided to have him indigenous-inspired, but I don't have access to that. I’ll share if I can find them but I think it’s on my old pc and I’m traveling for funerals so
2. The one who took the longest I think was Nick. As Nick I needed to created the entire design theme of his tribe, both kids and adults, so I knew what he’d wear. I drew inspo from a few mountain tribes both western and eastern, and had to think what kind of clothing would be appropriate for this indigenous tribe who still practiced human magic. They have alot of gems on their clothing for this reason as they lived close to the mountain and thanks to some gems, they don’t have to bother making weather specific clothing. If it’s hot, they can use the blue stones to keep a light cooling to themselves, if it’s cold then the yellow stones for light warmth, etc. Second longest probably goes to Rosemary just cause of the gif version I had.

Hey yall this is for both my blogs to repost cause I don’t have much energy to make multiple blogs to explain this. I know I should be continuing both the comic and fanfic as that’s what I promised, but recently my grandfather passed and a whole drama came out of my dnd campaigns at the same time. And I’m just not doing so well right now. Trying to find an equilibrium in the chaos, so I haven’t been even looking at the two projects I’m doing. Apologies for the long wait. I just need a break for a bit. Thank you.
Important Announcement
Hey yall time to finally announce what’s going on. Me and my team realized that no matter how we pace ourselves, semester course work keeps getting in the way, so we needed to come up with a solution.
We decided that we will work on the comic only on school breaks. So that means summer and winter breaks (summer 4 months and winter 1).
Meanwhile during the semester we’ll be working on less taxing stuff. Like concept art and other projects. Writing will also be a main focus during this time.
