How can all the Magicians reset in alphatale? When Frisk falls Flowey can't reset.

They can all have the ability to reset but only the strongest/one with most DT would be able to Reset at a time. 

The “party leader” as it would be in this case, to give it a video game-y equivalent.

tonight i learned that the only reason sans undertale himself, the main character of the game undertale, has any perceived importance in-game beyond the judgement room relies fully and completely on our rpg-loving asses to talking to him

you can just go this entire fucking game without talking to him

you can almost play all of undertale sans-sans

you don’t have to interact with every single detail in rpgs. in the full 21 years i’ve been alive, this concept never occurred to me. im shaken to my very core by this

I just want to thank everyone real quick for sticking around. I’m going through a job transition soon (not in my preferred field, it’s another grocery retail job with better pay) but I’m hopping that when things are settled I can focus more on my art. It’s just really hard to find a good balance between working on art after being on your feet all day interacting with people constantly. So I feel bad saying “I want to do more Undertale projects” when I should be trying to get a job in my field, (Getting an animation job on the East Coast is hard my dudes, and it’s hard convincing your folks that freelancing full time is an option when living in the city is expensive). I know what I want to do: talk about and draw cool stories all day, but being able to actually get to do that as a career takes a lot of drive and focus. Which are things I struggle with (along with time management). 

But seeing this blog be so successful as it is now, as something I do on the side, I really encouraging. Knowing that people like my drawing and like my ideas (even if they are derivative to a thing that a lot of folks already like), reminds me that I can do it.

I can become the storyteller I’ve always wanted to be.

And if you love something hard enough and keep putting time into it day by day, like dripping water filling up a cup. You too can achieve that dream. 

Determination is not a single action or decision you make, but a series of small choices that you commit to. And some days you will mess up. But look behind you. You’ve already been making steps in the right direction. You just have to pick up from the last Save Point.

(so yeah, sorry for inactivity around underversary week. Family from Canada visited this past weekend, I’m getting ready to table at a local con tomorrow, my part time job, looking for a full time job, and a whole bunch of other things building on top of each other that have rendered me in a state fluctuating between panic and ennui.)

everything in the game, including the text, is stored inside large files and has to be extracted. so if they want to update even a single line in the strings file, the entire 60MB data.win file has to be updated, for example. that's why the updates are so large

As expected, Undertale has updated to version 1.06

The only change I’ve found thus far are some minor tweaks to several lines of dialogue (spacing/timing, no new stuff) and this..

“HE IS” is no longer here.
