What made you want to be in Drumline? I love music. And I love marimba. And I love band kids.

How long have you been in Drumline? Tres anos!

Are you in the Pit or Battery? Front ensemble.

What’s your favorite instrument? Marimba!

If you’re in Pit, imagine you’re in Battery. What would you play? (Vice versa if you’re in Battery.) Snare. I'd wanna be center snare! But that's never going to happen because I fit every pit kid stereotype you've ever heard much to well to ever switch.

Winter Drumline or Fall Drumline? Fall. I love the feeling of playing on a field for an audience. Indoor can't top that; there's not the same adrenaline rush. But I do love that passion that comes with indoor!

Favorite show...would have to be this years (Arabesque). There were elements that weren't my fav, like playing ethnic drums for half of the closer but the ballad was so freaking sweet. Inverted chords whattup!

Section Leader

My best friend and I are the only two people auditioning for pit section leader. When she told me today that she’s only auditioning because it looks good on college, has no desire to put any effort into it, and wants to quit anyway, I kind of lost a little respect for her. I want this because I love it.

Gaaah I know all about this. Wanna know what sucks? When you and your friend both try out for section leader, and you get it, and you lose a friend because of it.
