NOT EVEN GOODBYE
BASSIE X GN! LECTORA
When spring ended, Bassie and the other three no longer seemed to be around, leaving you waiting until next year.
Warning: Anguish, I suppose.
You were walking through the halls of Gardenview. You had run into Eggson, Flyte, and Cocoa. They all looked depressed and weren't responding to anyone. But you didn't see Bassie. You wanted to check if she was okay. You hoped the same thing wouldn't happen to her as to the others, even though it was just a foolish hope. You knew this happened every year, but you still wanted to believe they could go back to being themselves, Hoping the creators would do something to fix it and that they wouldn't have to miss the whole year, you wanted to see her smiling as they got through the year without any problems.
Right now you're heading to the rooms imagining that she'd be waiting for you to help her, or at least that's what you thought when you saw her leaning against the wall with her empty eyes staring into nothingness, you knew that everything would be the same as year after year.
But that didn't stop you from approaching her and trying to change something — hey Bassie — you tried to talk to her while you stood right in front of her eyes but she just turned away as if you didn't matter now in these moments.
— Bassie, it's me — you tried again, passing a hand near her face, but she didn't react — could you at least look at me? — you sighed, somewhat discouraged
Her eyes barely touched you, devoid of emotion. — Wouldn't you like to spend the day with me? — you asked, gently taking her hands, but she pulled away.
— Come on, girl, I think we can do some productive things today — your voice came out nervously as your heart could barely bear this.
She didn't answer, you didn't even know if she could do it or if she didn't want to try—just because spring is gone doesn't mean you have to— You suggested, forcing a smile because you were almost certain he was ignoring you.
— Bassie please — you sat on the floor right next to her, watching her, waiting for some kind of response from her — I need you — You wanted to know if she loved you as much as you loved her.
— Please don't leave me again — although you could see that she was present, it didn't feel like she was.
— Please, just tell me what I can do to help you — you demanded as your throat began to hurt and tears welled in your eyes — Will you let me help you? — you were still waiting for an answer from her
You tried to touch her cheek, but she pulled away, refusing to be so close to you. — You could walk around, maybe look for some new flowers — she said, desperately seeking an answer she would never give you.
She couldn't stand your presence any longer; she got up from the ground just to walk away from you. You didn't even follow her when she started walking aimlessly around the place, looking for a darker, more secluded corner.
Note: I I think I really need to improve in this area; it didn't even turn out the way I wanted.
