Covid. It's literally just your and your quarantine group in a car, with maybe an open window. You can't get safer thsn that.

Being packed in a dark room full of strangers, with idiots talking through a film and teenagers vaping in the back row and kids kicking your seat? Bad. Sitting in a car with your friends and family? Better.

Retro Appeal(tm).

This is more of a plus for movie goers than movie theater owners, but guys, think about how many snacks you could sneak in. You could bring a whole costco rotisserie chicken to a movie. Guys.
