Tonight, friends and family celebrated the life of Robert Sebastian Wilson. Husband, father, hard worker, amazing artist, inspiring friend and Jesus lover. He wanted his memorial to be fun, filled with laughter and love. We sang some worship songs and had a service. Per his amazing wishes there was a dinner, an ice cream social and dancing complete with DJs. We cleared the sanctuary at our church of chairs and the DJs set up lights and speakers. They played all Rob's favorite songs. We danced to the B52's, our pastor and his daughter @maggie.acker did the "caterpillar", acted out some James Brown and Bruno Mars songs, sang along with Journey at the top of our lungs, did the Cupid shuffle and the Macarena, held hands and sang Sweet Caroline, we totally got "Rick Rolled" and "raised our glass" with Pink on the last song. Sweet fellowship and a joyous goodbye...for now.
