This is the last photo I'm going to share for a while that comes from the time period of our accident. For those of you who saw our last post, or for those of you that follow us on Facebook, you probably know that on June 25, while on vacation in Kansas City, our family suffered the absolutely unimaginable tragedy of our precious River Sivanne falling into a swimming pool and drowning. Our baby girl fought with all she had in the PICU at Children's Mercy for two weeks, but ultimately did not make it. We are left with a horrific hole in each of our hearts, and a massive emptiness in our lives. Ribby was so full of life, and love, and exuberance, and joy... She was always ready fo make a new friend, and she embraced every opportunity for a new adventure. For those of you that have been a part of our journey, we thank you from the bottom of our aching hearts. As I get our Instagram rolling again, I think I will share a few photos telling Ribby's story, and then the rest of our photos will go back to share Ribby's precious life in its entirety. Her 22 months were woefully short, but so full of magical adventures. 💜 Eventually, we will also post our future travels as our family moves forward from here. Ribby may be gone from this Earth, but she will ALWAYS be with us every step of the way. We will continue to stamp her National Park book, and we will continue to earn Junior Ranger Badges in her honor. We will also be paying forward as many random acts of kindness as possible. I'm not sure if anyone actually reads Instagram descriptions, but if you do, please pray for my baby girl, or send any positive thoughts and vibes our way. Not for me, but for this amazing, beautiful baby of mine. She fell into a swimming pool and drowned Saturday night. She is now in an unresponsive coma fighting for her life.
