chloe baker. chloe was the university of wisconsin's third-string goaltender for the same four years that laila was there. she and laila and kk are really close friends. because she was clearly never pursuing hockey professionally, she had a more normal life at wisco than many of her her teammates, and she made a lot of non-athlete friends, including one who would eventually become laila's girlfriend.

i watched code of misconduct last night about the hockey canada trial and having followed the trial while it was happening i cant help but feel like its gonna be revealed in some years that the judge was bought and paid for by hockey canada too. bc how is all the key evidence (like the uh glaring group chat that talks about how they definitely did the rape and need to get their stories straight) conveniently not admissable and the defense was allowed to get it declared a mistrial
