Sometimes, I feel really bad for my characters. It's not their fault the plot demands their life be so shit.

The intrusive thoughts won
Me: I'll write this story in the 2000s because then I can limit technology and how easily my characters can communicate. It's fine, I lived it, I remember what it was like then...
2003 was 22 years ago... Fuck.
I got COVID working customer service which feels like a rip-off when people get to go to parties and do stupid shit for their COVID
My husband made this and I know he's not gonna post it anywhere.

@navydroneslocker finally made a tumblr after much much much pestering. Go look at his memes

Didn’t want to waste the extra pie dough so now it’s cute
"It's like an incantation."
A few weeks ago I got really stoned and made this. 0/10 it's absolutely repugnant and has a gummy texture. It tastes like being waterboarded with the water from the top of the ketchup bottle. I will normally choke down recipe failures so I don't waste food but I did not have the willpower to eat more than a slice. The angry red brick and I stared into each others souls every time I opened the fridge for a week until I finally tossed it.
NOTICE: As more and more fanfic writers are using generative AI for their works (you uncreative dweebs), I hereby swear on everything I hold dear that I have not and will NEVER use generative AI in ANY of my written work. Everything I post will be organically and creatively my own.
I don’t use TikTok but I have before and they keep sending me emails about someone I know and it’s always the same person; a person I hate and haven’t spoken to in almost a decade.
This is worse than all the “Hey, Hun!” Messages I got spammed with on FB when I used that.
My house goblin is happy for springtime
Shut up and look at this slug ornament I found! I love them so much!
Update!!!
NW Pottery was so happy I shared their wares they brought me some more goodies!
I did buy the Flying Slug Ornament with my own money. These were gifts but I didn’t have to post or advertise them:

Pondering my orbs.
The price of coffee is going to go up by a lot so I figured I'd share my plans, as someone who drinks a pot of coffee a day.
I already forage as a hobby so I'm going to probably cut my coffee with Dandelion root to stretch it further. This has been actually common in times of economic hardship. You can also use Chicory but I'm far less familiar with safe harvest of Chicory.
Dandelion is great because it's fairly novice proof. From my experience and research, anything that looks like Dandelion is edible. Please, always always always do your own research before foraging. Don't trust random people on the internet and be very wary of blogs these days due to the encroachment of AI.
It's also not a great time of year to harvest Dandelion Root, usually that's more of a Autumn harvest but should still be fine. It IS almost the right right time for all the new leaves so that can help pad out your salads.
ANYWAY, here is an article from The Farmers Almanac on roasting the roots for coffee. They have a ratio for adding to grounds but, honestly, experiment with it and see how you like the taste.
