honesty, jungkook is still the nerdy jungkook lol. he stills likes everything he liked before, he’s just older, hotter, with tattoos & piercings. he just knows how to put the reader in her place (sometimes) when needed
i do think that the mc is starting to openly show that she likes jungkook in general a little more. like ofc we the readers know how she felt about him in their youth, mc was just in denial of said feelings & jungkook was just oblivious & took whatever he could get

so this is something i also thought about too. like why continue to cheat when obviously you kinda want someone else?? (I say as if im not the one that wrote it 😭)
im planning on exploring it in another part, but i do feel like it’s the thrill that he gets. like he doesn’t really hide it that well, just enough for his girlfriend not to find out. the sneaking around, the subtle glances, it all excites him.
he does like the mc; she’s younger & more open to new things that his girlfriend who is more career focused isnt. we know (at least i think i explained it in the first part) that jungkook comes from money and in his girlfriends eyes, “doesn’t have to work as hard”. the mc hasn’t taken life too seriously yet. she’s willing to entertain him to “get out of her shell” and “have fun”.
