This is the post that's been due for quite some time now.

I'm sorry to inform you all that this blog is now currently inactive. Due to a series of events in February, I feel as though I have lost the ability to write Francis efficiently enough to roleplay him anymore. I'm afraid that there isn't anything anyone can say to convince me to stay.

I would like to thank all of you for being so kind and patient with me, you have all truly made this a memorable experience for me. There of some of you whom I will not forget and will remember with fondness.

Again, thank you so much for sticking around for my brief yet extraordinary time roleplaying as Francis Bonnefoy.

The Frenchman purred in amusement and leaned down to her, feeling increasingly more confident by the second. He nipped at her earlobe gently.

“Nous faisons l’amour,” he replied, just as softly as she had whispered before he re-captured her lips with his. His hands came to rest on her hips.

Lola breathed out nervously, feeling how her cheeks tinted with a slightly flush at his words. She answered to the kiss, raising her other hand to cup his cheek. At that moment her breathing was completely messed, maybe as much as the fast beats of her heart. 

-Vamos… - she murmured huskily

Francis was slow with her, careful not to scratch his beard across her soft skin. His fingers tangled in her long hair, stroking the nape of her neck and the back of her head. He began to descend lower, kissing at her neck, taking his time to do so.

“J’ai te manqué,” he said yet again against the tan of her skin, enjoying the sweet scent of her perfume and sweat (from the sun, presumably).

Lola bit her lip and slided her hand for his neck, to finally leave it on his back. She shivered when she felt his fingers tangling on her hair, and gave a long and deep breath when he kissed his neck.

-Y yo… Francis… so much- she said, stroking his back and bringing him closer to her.

Francis nipped once at her neck and then kissed it when he left a temporary mark. The hand still on her hip slid down to grasp at her thigh, lifting it upwards in somewhat of a teasing manner. He grinned a little, pleased with the reaction he was getting. He kissed at her shoulder before returning his focus to her face so that he could see her eyes.

"Hmm..." he hummed, pecking her quickly. "Avec tout mon coeur," he continued. Francis gazed at her for a few moments before leaning in yet again for another kiss.

Francis was surprised, to say the least, by the kiss. It didn’t prevent him, however, from returning the kiss with an equal amount of passion. He slid his arms around her waist again, holding her close. For some reason, he felt inexplicably nervous. This was what he was known for, what he was good at and yet he was anxious about it. Hopefully he would get over it soon enough so that he could regain his usual prowess in such activities.

He broke the kiss and re-took her hand, giving it a gentle tug as he turned towards the building he’d seen her come out from.

“What number is your room, mon amour?”

Lola gave a grin, surprised and, somehow, amused. A strange feeling ran over her body. Yes, she wanted to be with him, in every possible way. She held his hand and nodded slightly.

-Yes, better go inside.  We are making a scene out here– she said with a chuckle when she saw a couple of tourist staring at them. She turned and looked at him – Vamos – she added almost in a whisper before start walking. 

Just when they crossed the front door, Lola could feel the fresh air of the place, opposite to the blazing sun of outside. She breathed deep, but the relief feeling ended as soon as they came across a crowd of tourists, blocking the way to the tower in which her room was. 

Lola made a face. She looked back, and was when she saw the stairs, cordoned off with a chain. She could feel how the smirk spreaded out on her face. The stairs to the private rooms. Certainly, that was a better place than the messy cave she called room. 

-No, not over here… - she whispered, gently tugging his hand and leading him back to the stairs

Before check no one was over there, Lola released Francis’ hand and slipped nimbly to the other side. She looked back at him with a smirk, folding her arms

- Upstairs, second room, to the left

Francis quirked an eyebrow, but carried out her instructions, having allowed himself to be led by her. He reached for her as she slid out of his grasp, missing her touch. But soon enough, he found himself returning her smirk.

“Alors… viens ici,” he gestured for her to come closer.

Lola tilted her head, without losing her smirk and got closer. She possed her hand on her shoulder and raised her head, almost brushing her cheek with his.

- And now? - she whispered

Francis craddled her to his chest, enjoying the simplicity of their closeness despite how hot it was. He pecked the top of her head, arms still encircling her. He sighed softly, continuing to ignore the stares that they were getting from passers-by. Although, he would have preferred to be somewhere more private, anyway.

“I could show you…?” he murmured, propositioning her for the first time. He realised that it wasn’t exactly ‘romantic’ but they had been on so many dates, gone to so many places and he just physically felt as though he wasn’t expressing himself or his feelings well enough.

Lola widened her eyes and raised her head. It was as if her heart had stopped for a moment. If she heard correctly… She looked at him, feeling him by her side.

And to tell the truth she couldn’t find any reason to say no. She had missed him too much; too much for actually feel comfortable with it. But she couldn’t deny that, suddenly, she was feeling … intimidated.

Lola breathed deep and posed her hand on his chest, smoothing out his shirt 

-Francis, yo…

Francis flushed a little, realising how it must have sounded. He cleared his throat, looking down at the ground for a few seconds before up at her again.

“Désolé. That was… uncouth. Let’s go and get some coffee, mm?” he smiled, somewhat nervously. He felt bad for the flicker of fear he’d seen in her eyes. He reached and took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Unless you have somewhere that you have to be, mon amour?”

Lola looked at him as he talked and bit her lip. She looked down at tangled her fingers with Francis’. What was she doing? Undoubtely, she was certain about something: That she wanted to be close to him, them alone. Oh, well, she was demonstrating it perfectly.

-Espera… - she said after a few seconds. She looked him straight in the eye and in a quickly movement she kissed him fiercely, forcing her mind to believe that he was back, after all, and would not leave again.

“À la française,” Francis beamed. “She makes me proud… but I am glad that you are both doing well. You have been together for quite some time now. I am impressed,” and a little surprised. “It would have been nice to visit at Christmas, if I could have… but I ended up being busy.” He wouldn’t mention that he’d visited Ivan, knowing that it probably wouldn’t bring any positive conversation from Alfred.

“Hey. Are you implying something.” Alfred narrowed his eyes, a humourous tone in his voice. “Yeah, I was at her house at Christmas and New Years. It was awesome. So different from American Christmases.”

"I can imagine... being on the beach at Christmas must have been quite amazing, uh?" Francis mused, taking a long drink from his coffee (which had cooled down considerably). "I bet that when you went home, you had lovely golden skin, oui? Angelique thinks that I do not get enough sunlight," he looked idly down at his hands, noting their paleness... at least he wasn't as pale as Arthur.

He couldn’t help but feel slightly relieved as she kissed him back and so it triggered for him to be more passionate about it. He pulled her close, arms wrapped around her waist, a hand on the centre of her back to prevent her from pulling to far away when they would finally part. He didn’t care about anyone else around them - they could stare as much as they wanted to.

After a kiss that didn’t feel nearly long enough, Francis eventually had to break the kiss to breathe. He pressed his forehead to hers, as though he might go in for another.

“Lola,” he repeated, whispering.

Lola breathed deep as they parted, feeling her heart pounding. In that moment she really felt confident,  the fear of him never coming back had dissapeared with all the little things… Thingies, thingies that runned through her head and now they had vanished as if they were just smoke. 

-Don’t dare to disappear again like this – she whispered. She bit her lip, trying to maintain her voice still – Just… Don’t… - she mumbled before kiss him again, this time in a calmer way.

“Jamais,” Francis replied quickly before returning the next kiss, much sweeter and slower this time. “Je t’ai manqué,” he murmured against her lips, re-newing the kiss shortly afterwards. He didn’t show any signs of letting go of her; the heat was starting to get to him as he felt something stir inside of him.

“Clearly you gave them the impression that you speak my language well, non?” Francis didn’t even bother to hide his smirk, purring with amusement. “Mais oui, we will meet closer to a monument next time.”

He raised an eyebrow and shrugged, “Creaking, no. I have been good, thank you. As good as a nation can be with an election going on… I am sure that you can empathise.”

“Shhh, I speak French perfectly fine.” Al took another sip of his coffee, taking a look around the cafe. It was so… French. So obscenely French. So beautifully French. “I think at this point I know Kreol better than French.” He gave a little chuckle and punched Francis’ arm lightly. “I spend more time on the islands than here.”

“Fuck yes, I can definitely empathise. And then all of these dipshi-Wait. I’m not supposed to show a bias.” He smirked, hiding it with another sip of coffee. It really was amazing coffee. “But I hear you, bro. It’s amazing I even found time to come here.”

Francis cringed as he was punched (even though it didn’t hurt). How typical of Alfred to hit him - he blamed Arthur entirely. No French child would lack such etiquette.

“I am sure that you do,” he chuckled. “How is Angelique? I haven’t seen her for a long time, either. You two haven’t secretly married or anything, have you?” It had been months since he’d seen Angelique, which was awful considering that he was one of the fathers. “Et moi aussi… alors, I am glad taht you managed to find the time to visit.”

And of course, if Arthur was asked, it was always Francis’ fault for any faults that Al or Mattie had. Never his.

“No, no.” His cheeks warmed slightly from the mention of marriage. He wasn’t really planning on it any time soon. “Not secretly married. Just the same as before, which I’m fine with and so is she.” The American gave a little shrug. “She’s been doing good. No different than usual. Still the same sass as before.” He chuckled. He just had to date the girls with sass.
