“Ok so like. We’re gonna metaphor this, because it’s a lot, alright? So you’re um, gonna have to bear with me here.”
“Alright so imagine for me: you wake up one evening, it’s all chill, eating your toasted o’s and, I dunno, drinking coffee, waking up stuff, right? And you go down to your basement. And it’s like, oh shit! There’s a bomb!”
“So this bomb, right? Scary as hell, it’s a lot. But, like, you’ve got this friend. This friend, who diffuses bombs for a hobby! Does that sorta thing for fun. So you’re like, hey, I’ll just give my buddy a call! And they hop right on over. So they’re in your basement, and after a while they poke up and they’re like hey yeah there’s no threat now, I’m just looking at components, but maybe don’t come down here ‘cause I like my space about it, and you’re like yeah man of course, ‘cause like, you get it, so you’re just goin’ about your night. ‘Cause you trust ‘em, right? They’re chill, and this is their wheelhouse, and like, you don’t know shit about bombs, let’s leave that mess to the folks who know about it, right? Like, if there was somethin’ you needed to know, you could call ‘em up and be like ‘Hey pal! Mind giving me a lil lesson here?’ And they’d help you out probably! But you don’t, and they have a hard time explaining stuff anyways, so it’s chill. And like, you make sure to offer them lunch and such, ‘cause you don’t wanna be a bad host, o’ course, and they come up to chat with you when they’re not workin’ on stuff, and like, yeah there’s some dangerous stuff goin’ on down there, but it’s fine, ‘cause they’ve got it handled.
