Oh my god dude will you update Serial? Or do a sequel? I’m dying rn for more and my eyes are so sore after so many sleepless nights
I’ve been slowly building up the motivation! Very slowly....
About Serial and a sequel--yes, but I likely won’t have the sequel in fanfic form, more as an original story. (I’m rewriting Serial as an original story too, though most of the details aren’t really changing, I’m just expanding on things and changing names.)
I’ve been wanting to write more of Serial for a good long while, but I didn’t really have the motivation until a few days ago to be fairly honest. I would look at it, sit down to write it, and come up with nothing good. It’s terrible because I’ve had the story entirely planned out since Chapter 5, so I’ve known how it’s going to end the whole time (that and the bloody sequel) and it killed me not to have it done and written.
I think my biggest demotivator was the fandom back in the day, I had a lot of friends that didn’t ship it (still do), and I just got burnt out after a while with the fandom drama. With the full series release coming and a small resurgence among my more shipper friendly friends though, that motivation is coming back.
I can’t guarantee when, but messages like this help motivate me to do it.
I do have a lot of time next week.... Hmm....
Also, Peaky Blinders has definitely been helping me get motivation oddly enough? Highly recommend that show XD
