No.1 Maitreka x Ankh

A great journey it has been and will forever be to a "Fashionista" / Model ,especially with a name I carried (No.1 Maitreka) through out my journey ..The Name started from nothing to something because it started a simple thing with me and my bro (Thabo Maawu) calling each other "Maitreka" whenever you are looking good, lol 2017/18 I officially took the name seriously after my bro's gave me a push to give it a try and I Added the "No.1 Maitreka" it was amazing honestly ..With that said I always motivated myself to "Always look good when you want to " because I personally do wake up anyday with a feeling of I wanna look good today and it is what it is I will look good anyday of the week and it feels good I swear ,So yea do what you gotta do.

A few years later after "No.1 Maitreka" has become a well known name ..Numerous people have been trying to convince me to start branding and I've been a bit negative about because I believed we have alot of people are already "Branding" but yes a few years later 2020 became a great year alot of plans coming through and yea I think or believe it's time for me to start branding and yea I'm working on it ..this I already have my shirt printed which has the following

Front - My Logo designed by Burbs

Back - Ankh and my name under it

The reason for the Ankh is well because the Ankh is a symbol of Life and the reason for No.1 Maitreka with Ankh design is because I pray for everlasting Life and some other aspect life such as Eternal Life,Imortality and Physical Life and also it is thus thought to bring Good Luck which I believe in it I will always wish myself Goodluck and the person who purchased the shirt I wish the both of us the shirt also This was through the idea of my bro (Ragarebe Duma)whom advised me to include the Ankh and didnt spoon feed me as he also adviced me to not just choose it but I need to understand it's worth and believe in it before I use it without enough information. A very huge appreciation to my bro.

I'm looking forward to us building a relationship with yall business wise and we pave a way for ourselves to the top.

GROWING UP WITH DEAF PARENTS.

From birth I've been living with my DEAF PARENTS it was bad a times where I'd be at school and they had to attend meetings and they didnt that's like around grade 2-3 but already mentally I was already understanding that I'm living with them under their "condition" they were never sick or never had an accident NO ,they were born deaf so here's the interesting part about life ..

I was very very very shy to come out in public with them or even walk around with them it was bad because my "Friends" or people from the streets would tease me about that,It was bad cos I had no one to run to ,But the fact that i didnt wanna go around with them was bad to a point where my parents started realizing that I seem to be ashamed of them ,I do blame myself for that it was bad but then fast forward 2007/8 somewhere there a nigga started growing up and learning that I'm one special kid I mean I'm a very rare kind ..Both parents deaf and then they bare 4 amazing kids that are able to hear everything clearly and speak except for my younger brother with a SLIGHT hearing problem.

From then till now I swear life has been amazing I'm able to go wherever and whenever with them and I'm so happy to be helping everyone understand them and it's so niice to see them happy and smiling with everyone no matter they know you or they dont.

I HAVE LEARNED THAT IN LIFE YOU GOTTA ACCEPT WHATEVER LIFE BRINGS TO YOU AND TURN IT INTO SOMETHING YOU'LL BE PROUD OF ONE DAY.

To my everyday prayer,Please as you read this ..Say it like you mean it then you'll feel me.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Amen.

I am the man I am today before achieving any big goal because of my Lovely wonderful amazing PARENTS also this prayer has and keeps me going and yes I do see light at the end of the tunnel.

I still look forward to helping people whom are interested in learning sign lunguage basics ,I'm not that perfect but I can definitely help you where I can.
