Man... Lovecraft has me in my feelings y'all. So I'm not going to go into everything about Wilstina and Ruby but things I am almost positive about now.
1. Ruby was a backup plan but she was also something Christina wanted from the beginning. Christina desires power, freedom, love and acceptance. She will do anything to keep that feeling from someone. After Christina fell in love she wrote Ruby into her conclusion. I also think her laughing at the end of episode 8, further makes sense. She was laughing because she almost died and it's her first time in love.
2. Ruby clearly and definitively chose Christina this episode. She loves her (maybe not sexually in that body) but she also wants power and she's not gonna back down. Only way I see this being a twist is if she backstabs Christina.
3. Christina and Ruby may hook up but honestly I think Ruby is pansexual heavily attracted to male personalities. Straight women do get crushes on women we just can't/ don't know how to express it because I have no desire to sleep with a woman. Maybe they will kiss? I digress.
4. Christina's ultimate goal is to experience life forever in everyway, in every time. She has a partner now for life if she can succeed. That's huge for one reason! If she loves Ruby she can still talk her out of killing Tic and they all have a happy ending. Not likely but possible.
5. I'm here for whatever happens. Looks like the other heroes are going to be on winning side if they are getting baptized. Here's hoping all my characters are happy someway 😐
