What was Christina going to say after Ruby cut her off? "I'm not your momma or your sister and if you can't see the difference between..." Someone said they think Ruby is leading Christina on. But I see it as yes she is using xtina magic to better her life, but she is obviously feeling something for her. She's a black woman in the 1950s. Y'all think Ruby is ready to accept her queerness especially for a white woman? This is a long a$$ slowburn. (or we are all clowns and this is queerbait-hopefully not) I listen to the HBO podcast and the writer for the show said that Ruby and Christina are trying to figure out what they are to each other.
There has to be more to Xtina wanting to be immortal. Y'all really think she wants it for sh!ts and giggles? She said she want to "experience all of it, an eternity of firsts" There's got to be more to that line.
The way Xtina be intensely looking at Ruby there's got to be more to their relationship. Like I've said they were lovers in a past life, Xtina can't reveal it to Ruby cause she has to naturally fall in love with her, cause magic reasons. Well that's the story in my head anyways. 😏
